Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bermain bola bocce siswa down syndrome. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) dengan model yang digunakan oleh Kemmis dan McTaggart yang mencangkup 4 tahapan siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa down syndrome kelas IV mengalami peningkatan pada keempat aspek yaitu dalam memegang bola mengalami peningkatan 3 skor setelah siklus II, melempar mengalami 3 skor setelah siklus II, memegang dan melempar mengalami peningkatan 3 skor setelah siklus II, memegang dan melempar dengan metode drill mengalami 3 skor setelah siklus II. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa bermain bola bocce dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu upaya dalam mengembangkan keterampilan motorik siswa di SLB B-C Bina Karya Insani. Oleh sebab itu, permainan berulang dengan bermain bola bocce juga menunjukkan perkembangan dalam bermain. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode drill dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bermain bola bocce bagi siswa down syndrome. ***** This classroom action research aims to improve the bocce ball playing skills of down syndrome students. The method used is the classroom action research method (Classroom Action Research) with the model used by Kemmis and McTaggart which includes 4 stages of the cycle, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The results of the study showed that fourth grade down syndrome students experienced an increase in all four aspects, namely in holding the ball increased by 3 scores after cycle II, throwing experienced 3 scores after cycle II, holding and throwing experienced an increase of 3 scores after cycle II, holding and throwing with the drill method experienced 3 scores after cycle II. These results indicate that playing bocce ball can be used as an effort to develop students' motor skills at SLB B-C Bina Karya Insani. Therefore, repeated play with playing bocce ball also shows development in playing. Thus, the results of this study indicate that the drill method can improve bocce ball playing skills for down syndrome students.
