Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Implementasi Program KiHajar STEM Dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Lulusan di SMK Negeri Jakarta. Program KiHajar STEM diselenggarakan oleh Kemendikbudristek sejak tahun 2020 merupakan bagian dari implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, dan Mathematics (STEM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik penentuan informan menggunakan purpossive sampling dan snowball sampling. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 6 (enam) orang yaitu wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, guru koordinator Program KiHajar STEM, guru pembimbing teknis Program KiHajar STEM, dan 3 (tiga) orang siswa peserta Program KiHajar STEM. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta studi dokumentasi. Fokus utama penelitian ini meliputi, tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi Program KiHajar STEM dalam meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap persiapan, sekolah menunjukkan komitmen tinggi dengan melakukan analisis potensi sekolah dan minat siswa, sosialisasi menyeluruh, perekrutan siswa berdasarkan potensi akademik dan non akademik di bidang STEM, pembekalan guru melalui PembaTIK, dan pendaftaran akun secara mandiri. Pelaksanaan program KiHajar STEM, mencakup pelatihan siswa secara informal, pendampingan siswa, pengerjaan soal STEM (basic dan intermediate), pembuatan desain prototype (advance), pembuatan proyek berbasis STEM (final), pembuatan video proyek, dan presentasi. Tahap monitoring dan evaluasi di SMKN 26 Jakarta hanya bersifat informal, seperti refleksi dan perbaikan internal. Dampak yang dihasilkan dari Program KiHajar STEM sangat signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi siswa yang berpartisipasi aktif, seperti soft skill (4C), pemecahan masalah, kolaborasi, public speaking, riset, inovasi, pengoperasian alat, kerja sama tim, dan teknologi informasi. ***** This research aims to describe the Implementation of the KiHajar STEM Program in Improving Graduate Competence at SMK Negeri Jakarta. The KiHajar STEM Program, organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture since 2020, is part of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which integrates a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)-based approach. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The technique for determining informants used purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The research subjects consisted of 6 (six) individuals, namely the vice principal in charge of student affairs, the coordinator teacher of the KiHajar STEM Program, the technical guidance teacher of the KiHajar STEM Program, and 3 (three) students participating in the KiHajar STEM Program. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and document studies. The main focus of this research includes the preparation phase, implementation, as well as monitoring and evaluation of the KiHajar STEM Program in improving graduates' competencies. The results of this study indicate that at the preparation stage, the school demonstrated a high level of commitment by conducting an analysis of the school's potential and students' interests, thorough socialization, student recruitment based on academic and non-academic potential in the STEM field, teacher training through PembaTIK, and self-registration of accounts. The implementation of the KiHajar STEM program includes informal student training, student mentoring, solving STEM problems (basic and intermediate), creating prototype designs (advanced), developing STEM-based projects (final), making project videos, and presentations. The monitoring and evaluation stage at SMKN 26 Jakarta is only informal, such as reflection and internal improvement. The impact generated by the KiHajar STEM Program is very significant in improving students' competencies, such as soft skills (4C), problem-solving, collaboration, public speaking, research, innovation, equipment operation, teamwork, and information technology.
