Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepemimpinan dengan kinerja karyawan di Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Teknis Fungsional Pertahanan Kementerian Pertahanan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan observasi kepada 62 responden dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Variabel kepemimpinan diukur menggunakan empat dimensi utama yaitu self awareness, balanced processing, relational transparency, dan internalized moral. Sementara itu, kinerja pegawai dinilai berdasarkan kualitas, kuantitas, ketepatan waktu, dan kerja sama. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan dengan kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya peran kepemimpinan dalam membentuk dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di lingkungan organisasi publik. Dengan demikian, peningkatan kualitas kepemimpinan berpotensi besar dalam mendorong produktivitas dan efektivitas kerja pegawai. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan pembinaan berkelanjutan dan penguatan dimensi kepemimpinan sebagai strategi peningkatan kinerja. ***** This study aims to determine the relationship between leadership and employee performance at the Center for Technical Functional Education and Training of the Ministry of Defense. A quantitative approach with a survey method was used. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and observation involving 62 respondents using the saturated sampling technique. The leadership variable was measured using four main dimensions: self-awareness, balanced processing, relational transparency, and internalized moral. Meanwhile, employee performance was assessed based on quality, quantity, timeliness, and teamwork. The results of data analysis indicate a positive and significant relationship between leadership and employee performance. These findings reinforce the importance of leadership in shaping and improving employee performance in public organizations. Thus, improving leadership quality has great potential to enhance employee productivity and work effectiveness. This study also recommends continuous development and strengthening of leadership dimensions as a strategy to improve performance.
