Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat adanya perbedaan pemahaman pola gizi seimbang dasar sebelum dan sesudah edukasi pola gizi seimbang melalui media cetak leaflet kepada ibu batita RW 04 Cipinang Cempedak. Permasalahan yang menjadi fokus adalah kurangnya pemahaman terhadap pengetahuan dasar pola gizi seimbang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest. Sampel terdiri dari 35 orang warga yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen berupa tes pilihan ganda berdasarkan teori andragogi dan ranah kognitif Taksonomi Bloom yang telah di validasi oleh expert judgement. Data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil pretest menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 72,14 dan meningkat menjadi 90,71 pada posttest. Uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2- tailed) sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah Intervensi edukasi melalui pemanfaatan media leaflet memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman ibu tentang pola gizi seimbang, sebagai langkah strategis dalam upaya pencegahan stunting sejak dini pada anak batita. **** This study was conducted to examine the difference in mothers’ understanding of the basic concept of balanced nutrition before and after an educational intervention using printed media (leaflet) among mothers of toddlers in RW 04 Cipinang Cempedak. The main issue addressed is the lack of basic knowledge and understanding of balanced nutrition patterns. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one group pretest posttest design. The sample consisted of 35 participants selected through purposive sampling. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test based on andragogical theory and Bloom’s cognitive taxonomy, and it was validated through expert judgment. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The pretest results showed an average score of 72.14, which increased to 90.71 in the posttest. The Wilcoxon test yielded an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. This finding confirms that educational intervention through the use of leaflet media contributes to enhancing mothers’ understanding of balanced nutrition, which serves as a strategic step in the early prevention of stunting among toddlers.
