Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-regulated learning dan prokrastinasi terhadap kecurangan akademik pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan responden yang merupakan 108 mahasiswa aktif Univeristas Negeri Jakarta. Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan convenience sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Academic Dishonesty Scale (ADS) untuk mengukur kecurangan akademik, Academic Volitional Strategy Inventory (AVSI) untuk mengukur self-regulated learning dan Academic Procrastination Scale (APS) untuk mengukur tingkat prokrastinasi. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, self-regulated learning dan prokrastinasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kecurangan akademik. Namun, secara parsial hanya prokrastinasi yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kecurangan akademik, sementara self-regulated learning tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan, meskipun arah hubungannya negatif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya penguatan regulasi diri dan pengurangan prokrastinasi dalam upaya meminimalkan perilaku curang di lingkungan akademik. Kata kunci: self-regulated learning, prokrastinasi, kecurangan akademik*****This study aims to examine the influence of self-regulated learning and procrastination on academic dishonesty among students of Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This research employed a quantitative approach with 108 active students of Universitas Negeri Jakarta as respondents. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a convenience sampling approach. The instruments applied were the Academic Dishonesty Scale (ADS) to measure academic dishonesty, the Academic Volitional Strategy Inventory (AVSI) to assess self-regulated learning, and the Academic Procrastination Scale (APS) to evaluate the level of procrastination. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to test the hypotheses. The results revealed that self-regulated learning and procrastination simultaneously had a significant effect on academic dishonesty. However, partially, only procrastination showed a significant and positive effect on academic dishonesty, whereas self-regulated learning had no significant effect, although the direction of the relationship was negative. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening self-regulation and reducing procrastination as preventive efforts to minimize academic dishonesty within the academic environment.
