Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa board game berbasis kearifan lokal Jakarta yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara peserta didik kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Keterampilan berbicara merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam penguasaan bahasa yang perlu dikembangkan sejak dini melalui media yang menarik, kontekstual, dan sesuai dengan perkembangan kognitif anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek uji coba terdiri atas tiga tahap, yaitu uji one-to-one, small group, dan field test yang masing-masing melibatkan peserta didik kelas III di SDN Pulogebang 11. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan tes keterampilan berbicara, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media board game “Jelajah Jakarta” valid dari aspek isi, tampilan, dan kegunaan berdasarkan penilaian ahli media, ahli materi, dan guru kelas. Efektivitas media diuji menggunakan analisis n-gain, yang menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara peserta didik dengan rata-rata 0,56 yang menunjukkan kriteria cukup efektif. Dengan demikian, media board game ini layak digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif inovasi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara peserta didik di sekolah dasar, khususnya pada muatan Bahasa Indonesia berbasis kearifan lokal. Kata kunci: Pengembangan Media, Board Game, Keterampilan Berbicara, Kearifan Lokal, Peserta Didik Sekolah Dasar ***** This study aims to develop an instructional medium in the form of a board gamebased on Jakarta’s local wisdom to improve the speaking skills of third-grade elementary school students. Speaking skill is one of the essential aspects of language proficiency that must be developed from an early age through engaging, contextual media that align with children’s cognitive development. The research employed the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product testing was carried out in three stages: one-to-one, small group, and field testing, involving third-grade students at SDN Pulogebang 11. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and speaking skill tests, and then analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The findings revealed that the board game “Jelajah Jakarta” is valid in terms of content, design, and usability, as assessed by media experts, content experts, and classroom teachers. The effectiveness of the media was evaluated using an n-gain analysis, which revealed an average score improvement of 0.56 in students’ speaking skills, indicating a moderate level of effectiveness. Therefore, this board game is considered appropriate as an innovative learning medium to enhance students' speaking skills in elementary education, particularly in Bahasa Indonesia learning that incorporates local wisdom.
