Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana pemanfaatan Learning Management System (LMS) dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di SMP Nasional Plus BPK PENABUR Bogor pasca pandemi COVID-19. Model SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) digunakan sebagai kerangka untuk menganalisis sejauh mana LMS diintegrasikan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LMS telah mencapai tingkat augmentasi dan modifikasi yang signifikan, namun belum sepenuhnya mencapai tahap redefinisi. LMS terbukti memberikan fleksibilitas, meningkatkan interaksi, serta mendukung pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21 seperti kolaborasi dan berpikir kritis. Meski demikian, masih ditemukan kendala dalam pemanfaatan optimal fitur-fitur LMS oleh guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pelatihan guru, pengembangan fitur LMS yang lebih adaptif, serta strategi implementasi LMS dalam model blended learning untuk pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan. ***** This study aims to examine the extent to which a Learning Management System (LMS) is utilized in Natural Science (IPA) learning at SMP Nasional Plus BPK PENABUR Bogor after the COVID-19 pandemic. The SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) model is used as a framework to analyze the extent to which the LMS is integrated into learning activities. This study employed a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that LMS use has reached a significant level of augmentation and modification, but has not yet fully reached the redefinition stage. The LMS has been shown to provide flexibility, enhance interaction, and support the development of 21st-century competencies such as collaboration and critical thinking. However, obstacles remain in the optimal utilization of LMS features by teachers and students. This study recommends improving teacher training, developing more adaptive LMS features, and implementing LMS strategies in a blended learning model for more effective and sustainable learning.
