Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperlihatkan gambaran emosi marah pada anak yang orang tuanya bercerai. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMA/SMK dengan kriteria penelitian yaitu peserta didik aktif SMA/SMK di wilayah Jakarta serta memiliki isu perceraian orang tua dengan status orang tua bercerai hidup. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik convenience sampling yang memperoleh jumlah 61 peserta didik. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Mixed Method dengan jenis sequential explanatory (kuantitatif-kualitatif). Hasil dari tahap kuantitatif menggunakan instrumen STAXI (State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory) menunjukkan 80.3% dari 61 peserta didik dalam kategori cukup tinggi dalam emosi marah. Pada tahap kualitatif data emosi marah dari 61 responden diperoleh 4 responden sebagai informan wawancara yaitu sebanyak 2 reponden dengan kategori tinggi dan 2 responden dengan kategori cukup rendah, hasil pada tahap kualitatif informan menunjukkan perbedaan emosi marah anak terhadap status orang tua bercerai dan pengalaman perceraian. Oleh karena itu, guru Bimbingan dan Konseling perlu melakukan screening pada isu emosi marah peserta didik khususnya dengan latar belakang keluarga yang bercerai untuk memberikan intervensi sebelum mempengaruhi kegiatan belajar di sekolah dan layanan edukatif untuk mengurangi stigma mengenai status orang tua bercerai. ***** This study aims to show the picture of anger in children whose parents are divorced. The sample of this study is high school/vocational school students with the research criteria being active high school/vocational school students in the Jakarta area who have issues with their parents' divorce and whose parents are divorced. The sampling technique used in this study was convenience sampling, which yielded a total of 61 students. The research method used was a mixed method with a sequential explanatory (quantitative-qualitative) approach. The results of the quantitative stage, using the STAXI (State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory) instrument, showed that 80.3% of the 61 students fell into the “moderately high” category for anger emotions. In the qualitative stage, information on anger emotions from 61 respondents was obtained from 4 respondents as interview informants, namely 2 respondents in the high category and 2 respondents in the fairly low category. The results of the qualitative stage informants showed differences in children's anger emotions toward their parents' divorced status and divorce experiences. Therefore, guidance and counseling teachers need to conduct screening on the issue of anger emotions among students, especially those with a divorced family background, to provide intervention before it affects school learning activities and educational services to reduce stigma regarding the status of divorced parents.
