Abstract
Regulasi diri merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan yang penting bagi anak, terkhusus dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di sekolah minggu Gereja GBKP Pondok Gede, diketahui anak-anak kelas tersebut masih menunjukkan sikap sering berlarian dan berteriak saat guru tengah menyampaikan materi di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan regulasi diri anak usia 5-6 tahun di sekolah minggu Gereja GBKP Pondok Gede melalui penggunaan video Loudance, dengan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas model Stringer yang terdiri dari tahapan Look, Think, dan Act. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah anak-anak usia 5-6 tahun di sekolah minggu Gereja GBKP Pondok Gede. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus yang terdiri dari pertemuan pra-tindakan pada tahap Look siklus I dan pada siklus berikutnya masing-masing empat pertemuan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan regulasi diri anak mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sebesar 44,83%, siklus II sebesar 54,67%, lalu siklus III sebesar 75,5%. Berdasarkan data tersebut implikasi penelitian ini adalah penggunaan video Loudance dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan regulasi diri anak. ***** Self-regulation is one of the important developmental aspects for children, especially in supporting the learning process in Early Childhood Education (ECE). Based on the results of observations made on children aged 5-6 years at the GBKP Pondok Gede Church Sunday school, it is known that the class children still show an attitude of often running around and shouting when the teacher is delivering material in the classroom. This study aims to determine the improvement of the ability of self-regulation of children aged 5-6 years at the GBKP Pondok Gede Church Sunday school through the use of Loudance videos, using the Stringer model of classroom action research which consists of the Look, Think, and Act stages. The subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years at the GBKP Pondok Gede Church Sunday school. This research was conducted in three cycles consisting of pre-action meetings at the Look stage of cycle I and in the next cycle each of the four meetings. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used include qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that children's self-regulation skills increased from cycle I by 44.83%, cycle II by 54.67%, then cycle III by 75.5%. Based on this data, the implication of this research is that the use of Loudance videos can be used as an alternative to improve children's self-regulation skills.
