Abstract

Efikasi diri merupakan bagian penting teori sosial kognitif dimana seseorang dapat meyakini kemampuan dan menilai dirinya yang dapat berdampak pada kemampuan menyelesaikan berbagai situasi salah satunya berkaitan dengan perhitungan. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan, siswa masih kesulitan dalam melakukan perhitungan dan memecahkan masalah dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan efikasi diri dengan numerasi pada siswa kelas III SD di Kecamatan Cibungbulang. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh 105 siswa kelas III sebagai sampel penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif survei. Instrumen sebagai alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan tes yang menggunakan uji hipotesis pearson product moment, uji signifikansi (uji t), dan analisis koefisien determinasi (R2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan numerasi sebesar 0,452 dan berada pada kategori sedang. Efikasi diri memiliki kontribusi sebesar 20,5 % dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri dapat dijadikan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa. ***** Self-Efficacy is an important part of social cognitive theory where a person can believe in their abilities and assess themselves which can have an impact on the ability to solve various situations, one of which is related to calculations. Based on preliminary studies, students still have difficulty in performing calculations and solving problems in the context of everyday life. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and numeracy in grade III elementary school students in Cibungbulang District. The research sampling technique used cluster random sampling so that 105 grade III elementary school students were obtained as research samples. This study used a quantitative survey method. The instruments used as data collection tools were questionnaires and tests using the Pearson product moment hypothesis test, significance test (t-test), and coefficient of determination analysis (R2). The research results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and numeracy of 0,452 and is in the medium category. Self-efficacy contributed 20.5% and the rest was influenced by other factors. This study shows that self-efficacy can be used as a way to improve students' numeracy skills.
