Abstract

Semakin bertambahnya penduduk pada suatu wilayah maka kebutuhan akan lahan juga semakin meningkat. Bekasi yang merupakan kota dengan jumlah penduduk tertinggi di Jawa Barat menghadapi tekanan yang signifikan terhadap kebutuhan lahan sehingga memicu terjadinya perubahan penggunaan lahan dari lahan non terbangun menjadi lahan terbangun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan penduduk terhadap perubahan penggunaan lahan di Kota Bekasi pada tahun 2013-2023 dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan meliputi data kependudukan Kota Bekasi tahun 2013-2023 dan data penggunaan lahan hasil interpretasi citra tahun 2013-2023. Analisis regresi linear sederhana dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan dan pengaruh variabel pertumbuhan penduduk terhadap variabel perubahan penggunaan lahan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan lahan terbangun di Kota Bekasi sebesar 3.139,5 ha (14,73%) dari yang sebelumnya 15.207,4 ha (71,37%) pada tahun 2013 menjadi 18.346,9 ha (86,10%) pada tahun 2023 dengan hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pertumbuhan penduduk terhadap perubahan penggunaan lahan terbangun di Kota Bekasi sebesar 68,7%. Hasil uji hipotesis uji t didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,002 < 0,05), sehingga dapat diasumsikan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. ***** As the population in a region increases, the need for land also increases. Bekasi, the city with the highest population in West Java, faces significant pressure on land needs, thus triggering changes in land use from non-built-up land to built-up land. This study aims to determine the effect of population growth on changes in land use in Bekasi City in 2013-2023 using descriptive research methods and quantitative approaches. The data used include population data of Bekasi City in 2013-2023 and land use data from image interpretation in 2013-2023. A simple linear regression analysis was conducted to determine the relationship and influence of population growth variables on land use change variables. The results of this study indicate an increase in built-up land in Bekasi City by 3,139.5 ha (14.73%) from the previous 15,207.4 ha (71.37%) in 2013 to 18,346.9 ha (86.10%) in 2023 with the results of a simple linear regression analysis showing the influence of population growth on changes in built-up land use in Bekasi City by 68.7%. The results of the t-test hypothesis test obtained a significance value of 0.002 smaller than 0.05 (0.002 < 0.05), so it can be assumed that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
