Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan penilaian dalam penyusunan bahan ajar modul berbahan cetak dengan materi Zero Waste Design dengan Teknik Geo-Cut dan memperoleh hasil penilaian uji kelayakan modul sebagai alternatif bahan ajar untuk mata kuliah Sustainable Fashion pada program studi D4 Desain Mode di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan menggunakan modul pengembangan 4D, terdiri dari Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate. Pengembangan dibatasi hanya sampai tahapan Development. Modul dinilai dengan uji kelayakan produk berdasarkan aspek karakteristik yang dirumuskan oleh Kosasih (2021) dan aspek elemen mutu modul yang dirumuskan oleh Daryanto (2013 diacu dalam Gunawan, 2022). Uji kelayakan modul dinilai dengan menggunakan instrumen penilaian berupa angket karakteristik dan elemen mutu modul oleh panelis ahli materi dan media untuk memastikan isi, penyajian, serta efektivitas penggunaan modul dalam kegiatan pembelajaran berdasarkan karakteristik dan elemen mutu modul. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan modul “Sangat Layak” dengan nilai 97,27% berdasarkan aspek karakteristik modul dan nilai 81,64% berdasarkan aspek elemen mutu modul. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa modul ajar sangat layak digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar untuk mata kuliah Sustainable Fashion dengan nilai keseluruhan 89,46%. Diharapkan modul ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman serta pengetahuan mengenai konsep zero waste khususnya teknik geo-cut serta penerapannya secara praktik. ***** This study aims to obtain an evaluation of the development of a printed teaching module on Zero Waste Design using the Geo-Cut technique, and to assess the feasibility of the module as an alternative teaching material for the Sustainable Fashion course in the D4 Fashion Design program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The research methodology used in this study was Research and Development (RnD) and using the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate) as the development methodology. The development process was limited only to the Development stage. The module was assessed through a feasibility test based on the characteristic aspects formulated by Kosasih (2021) and the module quality element aspects formulated by Daryanto (2013 as cited in Gunawan, 2022). The feasibility test was evaluated using an assessment instrument in the form of questionnaires on characteristics and module quality elements, which were assessed by expert in content and media to ensure the content, presentation, and effectiveness of the module based on its characteristics and quality elements. The assessment results, module was declared “Highly Feasible,” with a score of 97.27% for the module characteristic aspects and 81.64% for the module quality element aspects. The research results indicated that the module was highly suitable to be used as an alternative teaching material for the Sustainable Fashion course with an overall score of 89,46%. It was expected that the module would enhance understanding and knowledge of zero waste, especially the geo-cut technique and its practical application.
