Abstract

Pertumbuhan industri perbankan syariah di Indonesia belum diimbangi dengan tingkat adopsi yang tinggi di kalangan Generasi Z. Fenomena ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara potensi pasar dan perilaku aktual terhadap layanan keuangan syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis determinan niat perilaku menggunakan layanan digital bank syariah pada Generasi Z di Banten berdasarkan model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) serta menguji peran Islamic Financial Literacy sebagai variabel moderasi. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan survei terhadap 619 responden Generasi Z di delapan kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Banten, antara lain: Kabupaten Lebak, Kabupaten Pandeglang, Kabupaten Serang, Kabupaten Tangerang, Kota Cilegon, Kota Serang, Kota Tangerang, dan Kota Tangerang Selatan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa performance expectancy dan effort expectancy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap attitude. Kemudian social influence dan attitude berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap behavioral intention, sementara performance expectancy, effort expectancy dan facilitating conditions tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap behavioral intention. Selain itu, facilitating conditions dan behavioral intention berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap use behavior. Islamic financial literacy terbukti memoderasi hubungan antara attitude dan behavioral intention, memperkuat niat penggunaan layanan bank syariah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan literasi keuangan syariah menjadi faktor kunci dalam mendorong adopsi layanan digital bank syariah di kalangan Generasi Z. This phenomenon indicates a gap between market potential and actual behavioral engagement with Islamic financial services. This study aims to analyze the determinants of behavioral intention to use digital Islamic banking services among Generation Z in Banten, based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, and to examine the moderating role of Islamic Financial Literacy. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey of 619 Generation Z respondents across eight regencies/cities in Banten Province. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4. The results reveal that performance expectancy and effort expectancy have a positive and significant effect on attitude. Furthermore, social influence and attitude positively and significantly affect behavioral intention, while performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and facilitating conditions do not have a significant effect on behavioral intention. In addition, facilitating conditions and behavioral intention positively and significantly influence use behavior. Islamic financial literacy is found to significantly moderate the relationship between attitude and behavioral intention, thereby strengthening the intention to use Islamic banking services. These findings underscore that enhancing Islamic financial literacy is a key factor in promoting the adoption of digital Islamic banking services among Generation Z.
