Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menemukan nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam novel Pudarnya Pesona Cleopatra karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy melalui kajian resepsi siswa. Kajian resepsi ditinjau dari unsur instrinsik yaitu tema, alur, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, dan amanat. Sedangkan nilai pendidikan dipahami dari kajian religius, moral dan budaya. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode resepsi sastra. Data diambil dari angket yang disebarkan kepada siswa dan kalimat-kalimat dalam novel yang memiliki nilai pendidikan sesuai fokus penelitian. Data dituangkan dalam tabel kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pemahaman siswa terhadap unsur intrinsik adalah a) tema novel adalah percintaan, b) alur adalah alur maju, tokoh dan penokohan adalah tokoh Aku sebagai orang penurut, acuh, dan penghayal, serta tokoh Raihana sebagai orang yang sabar, sholehah, dan ikhlas, c) latar adalah di Indonesia (kota Solo dan Malang), d) amanat adalah rasa menghargai dan mencintai seseorang. 2) Pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai pendidikan religius adalah penurut serta sabar dan tetap menjadi manusia tawakal terhadap ketentuan takdir, nilai pendidikan moral adalah sabar dan tawakal, dan nilai pendidikan budaya adalah cerminan sikap kepatuhan anak terhadap orang tua dan istri kepada suami. Kata Kunci : Novel, Nilai Pendidikan, Resepsi Sastra The purpose of study was to examine and find the educational value contained in the novel Pudarnya Pesona Cleopatra by Habiburrahman El Shirazy through student reception studies. Reception studies are reviewed from the intrinsic elements of the theme, plot, character and characterization, setting, and mandate. While the value of education is understood from religious, moral and cultural studies. The research approach used qualitative research with literary reception methods. Data was taken from questionnaires distributed to students and sentences in novels that had educational value according to the focus of the study. Data put in work table. The results showed that 1) students' understanding of the intrinsic element is a) the theme of the novel is romance, b) the plot is the flow forward, the character and characterization are the characters I as obedient, indifferent, and dreamer, and Raihana as a patient person, sholehah , and sincere, c) the setting is in Indonesia (Solo and Malang), d) the mandate is to respect and love someone. 2) Students' understanding of the value of religious education is obedient and patient and remains a human trust in the provisions of destiny, the value of moral education is patience and trust, and the value of cultural education is a reflection of the child's adherence to parents and wife to their husbands.
