Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pelatihan kompetensi profesional guru SDIT (School of Development Islamic Teacher) yang layak, efektif, dan praktis. Guru SMP Islam di Kota Bekasi masih menghadapi permasalahan rendahnya pemahaman dan keterampilan profesional, khususnya dalam penguasaan materi pembelajaran secara mendalam, pengembangan kompetensi keilmuan, serta integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman dalam praktik mengajar, yang berdampak pada kurang optimalnya kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan dengan memadukan model Dick and Carey, Derek Rowntree, serta evaluasi empat level Kirkpatrick. Analisis kebutuhan pelatihan dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah dan potensi pengembangan, dilanjutkan dengan penyusunan modul ajar berbasis flipped learning yang menekankan internalisasi nilai-nilai keislaman seperti keikhlasan, amanah, dan tanggung jawab dalam profesionalitas guru. Instrumen penelitian meliputi pre-test, post-test, modul pembelajaran, panduan instruktur, serta angket kepuasan peserta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model SDIT dinyatakan layak ditinjau dari aspek desain, materi, media, dan bahasa dengan skor 3,39. Uji efektivitas memperlihatkan peningkatan skor pemahaman dengan N-Gain = 0,76 kategori tinggi, dengan nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 51,96 (pre-test) menjadi 88,48 (post-test). Analisis kepraktisan juga menunjukkan respons positif peserta terhadap penerapan model SDIT beserta media pendukungnya. Dengan demikian, model SDIT terbukti layak, efektif, dan praktis, serta berimplikasi pada peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru SMP Islam di Kota Bekasi, meliputi penguasaan materi secara luas dan mendalam, pengembangan keilmuan sesuai kemajuan zaman, serta kemampuan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dalam praktik pembelajaran yang bermutu. ***** This study aims to develop a professional competency training model for SDIT teachers (School of Development Islamic Teacher) that is valid, effective, and practical. Islamic junior high school teachers in Bekasi City continue to face challenges related to low levels of professional understanding and skills, particularly in mastering subject matter in depth, developing academic competence, and integrating Islamic values into teaching practices. These challenges have resulted in suboptimal classroom learning quality. The research employed a research and development approach, integrating the Dick and Carey model, Derek Rowntree’s model, and Kirkpatrick’s four-level evaluation framework. A training needs analysis was conducted to identify existing problems and development potential, followed by the development of flipped learning–based instructional modules that emphasize the internalization of Islamic values such as sincerity (ikhlas), trustworthiness (amanah), and responsibility in teachers’ professionalism. The research instruments included pre-tests and post-tests, instructional modules, instructor guides, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. The findings indicate that the SDIT model is valid in terms of design, content, media, and language, achieving a mean score of 3.39. Effectiveness testing revealed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding, with an N-Gain score of 0.76 (high category) and an increase in mean scores from 51.96 (pre-test) to 88.48 (post-test). Practicality analysis also showed positive participant responses toward the implementation of the SDIT model and its supporting media. In conclusion, the SDIT training model is valid, effective, and practical, and it contributes to improving the professional competence of Islamic junior high school teachers in Bekasi City, particularly in mastering subject matter comprehensively and deeply, developing academic expertise in line with contemporary advancements, and integrating Islamic values into high-quality instructional practices.
