Ahmad Hilmi Fuadi. 2026. Analisis Diksi Konotatif Dalam Novel Konbini Ningen Karya Sayaka Murata : Sebuah Kajian Semantik. Skripsi. Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang. Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini menganalisis diksi konotatif dalam novel Konbini Ningen karya Sayaka Murata menggunakan kajian semantik. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan makna dan jenis-jenis diksi konotatif yang digunakan dalam novel tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik simak dan catat. Data dikumpulkan langsung dari novel Konbini Ningen versi bahasa Jepang. Landasan teori yang digunakan mencakup fitur semantik (imitokuchou) dalam semantem (igiso) oleh Sutedi (2011) serta teori jenis diksi konotatif oleh Chaer (2021). Hasil penelitian terhadap 31 data menunjukkan adanya 8 data bermakna konotatif positif, 20 data konotatif negatif, dan 3 data konotatif netral. Makna konotatif negatif menjadi jenis yang paling dominan, yang umumnya merepresentasikan keterasingan tokoh utama, konflik batin, serta kritik terhadap norma sosial. Sebaliknya, konotasi positif muncul pada momen penerimaan diri, sementara konotasi netral digunakan untuk menegaskan keadaan tanpa kesan emosional tertentu. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman mengenai peran diksi konotatif dalam memperkaya gaya bahasa sekaligus merefleksikan realitas sosial dalam novel tersebut. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan menelaah aspek semantik lain seperti makna leksikal, relasi makna, atau ambiguitas guna memperoleh gambaran makna bahasa yang lebih komprehensif. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This research analyzes connotative diction in Sayaka Murata's novel Konbini Ningen using a semantic approach. The study aims to identify the meanings and types of connotative diction used within the novel. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with note-taking and observation techniques. Data were collected directly from the original Japanese version of Konbini Ningen. The theoretical frameworks applied are the semantic features (imitokuchou) in semantemes (igiso) theory by Sutedi (2011) and the types of connotative diction by Chaer (2021). The results, based on 31 identified data points, show 8 data of positive connotation, 20 data of negative connotation, and 3 data of neutral connotation. Negative connotation is the most dominant type, generally used to portray the protagonist's alienation, internal conflict, and social criticism. In contrast, positive connotations appear during moments of self-acceptance, while neutral connotations are used to state conditions without specific emotional impressions. These findings are expected to provide an understanding of the role of connotative diction in enriching linguistic style while reflecting the social realities in Konbini Ningen. Future research is suggested to examine other semantic aspects, such as lexical meaning, sense relations, or ambiguity, to obtain a more comprehensive overview of linguistic meaning.
