Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dan penggunaan media evaluasi Wayground terhadap keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab (insyā’ muwajjahah) peserta didik kelas XI SMA IT YP IPPI Cakung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu dan desain faktorial 2 × 2, yang melibatkan dua variabel bebas, yaitu metode pembelajaran (TPS dan konvensional) dan media evaluasi (Wayground dan paper-based), serta satu variabel terikat berupa keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 60 peserta didik yang dibagi ke dalam empat kelompok perlakuan. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai keterampilan menulis (insyā’ muwajjahah) dengan tema aṣ-Ṣiḥḥah (kesehatan). Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis varians (ANAVA) dua jalur setelah memenuhi uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan metode pembelajaran terhadap keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab peserta didik, (2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan media evaluasi terhadap keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab peserta didik, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dan media evaluasi terhadap keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab peserta didik. Hasil uji lanjut menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi metode pembelajaran Think Pair Share dengan media evaluasi Wayground menghasilkan keterampilan menulis yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kombinasi perlakuan lainnya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode Think Pair Share dengan media evaluasi Wayground efektif meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab peserta didik. Temuan ini memperkaya kajian pembelajaran bahasa Arab dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pendidik dalam memilih metode serta media evaluasi yang tepat. Kata kunci: Bahasa Arab, Keterampilan menulis, Think Pair Share, Wayground. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning method and the use of Wayground evaluation media on Arabic writing skills (insyā’ muwajjahah) of eleventh-grade students at SMA IT YP IPPI Cakung. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a 2 × 2 factorial design, involving two independent variables: learning method (TPS and conventional) and evaluation media (Wayground and paper-based), and one dependent variable, namely Arabic writing skills. The sample consisted of 60 students divided into four treatment groups. The research instrument was an essay test on writing skills (insyā’ muwajjahah) with the theme aṣ-Ṣiḥḥah (health). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) after meeting the prerequisite tests of normality and homogeneity. The results of the analysis show that (1) there is a significant effect of the learning method on students’ Arabic writing skills, (2) there is a significant effect of the evaluation media on students’ Arabic writing skills, and (3) there is a significant interaction effect between the learning method and the evaluation media on students’ Arabic writing skills. Further test results indicate that the combination of the Think Pair Share learning method and Wayground evaluation media produces higher writing skills compared to other treatment combinations. This study concludes that the Think Pair Share method combined with Wayground evaluation media is effective in improving students’ Arabic writing skills. These findings enrich the field of Arabic language teaching and may serve as a reference for educators in selecting appropriate learning methods and evaluation media.
