Abstract

QUROTANISAH. Metafora Konseptual dalam Empat Lirik Lagu pada Album Zeit karya Rammstein. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman. Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Januari. 2026. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis metafora konseptual dalam empat lirik lagu pada album Zeit karya Rammstein, yaitu berjudul Armee der Tristen, Zeit, Meine Tränen, dan Angst. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan 39 data berupa susunan kalimat dalam bait yang terbentuk dari kata, frasa, dan elipsis yang mengandung metafora konseptual dalam keempat lirik lagu tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat ketiga jenis metafora konseptual dalam empat lirik lagu tersebut, yaitu metafora struktural, metafora ontologis, dan metafora orientasional. Ketiga jenis metafora ini muncul dalam keseluruhan data dan menunjukkan variasi penggunaan metafora konseptual pada album Zeit. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa seluruh jenis metafora konseptual ditemukan dalam keempat lirik lagu pada album Zeit karya Rammstein. Metafora ontologis digunakan untuk memberikan gambaran fisik yang jelas pada konsep-konsep abstrak yaitu kesedihan, waktu, kekuatan, kematian, dan rasisme. Metafora struktural berguna untuk memberikan gambaran suatu proses, kejadian, pergerakan atau intensitas suatu perasaan melalui konsep yang lebih konkret. Lalu, metafora orientasional berguna untuk menunjukkan arah perjalanan kehidupan manusia. This study aims to describe the types of conceptual metaphors in four songs from Rammstein's album Zeit, namely Armee der Tristen, Zeit, Meine Tränen, and Angst. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method with 39 data in the form of sentence structures in verses formed from words, phrases, and ellipses containing conceptual metaphors in the four song lyrics. The results of the study show that there are three types of conceptual metaphors in the four song lyrics, namely structural metaphors, ontological metaphors, and orientational metaphors. These three types of metaphors appear in all data and show variations in the use of conceptual metaphors in the album Zeit. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that all types of conceptual metaphors are found in the four song lyrics on Rammstein's album Zeit. Ontological metaphors are used to provide a clear physical description of abstract concepts, namely sadness, time, power, death, and racism. Structural metaphors are useful for describing a process, event, movement, or intensity of a feeling through a more concrete concept. Finally, orientational metaphors are useful for showing the direction of human life's journey.
