Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks cerpen berbantuan media Articulate Storyline 3 pada siswa kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menunjang pembelajaran dalam membaca pemahaman teks cerpen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis (analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Subjek penelitian melibatkan 108 siswa kelas VIII dengan data yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan angket analisis kebutuhan. Data penelitian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa materi ajar memperoleh skor kelayakan sebesar 96% dari validator materi, 98% dari validator media, dan 93,3% dari guru Bahasa Indonesia. Uji respons yang dilakukan pada 24 siswa kelas VIII-2 MTs Negeri 39 Jakarta menunjukkan persentase 89,42% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa materi ajar interaktif yang dikembangkan sesuai untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran teks cerpen pada jenjang SMP kelas VIII, selaras dengan Capaian Pembelajaran (CP) elemen membaca dan memirsa. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, materi ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak, efektif, dan inovatif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berhasil menghasilkan produk pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks cerpen siswa, sekaligus mendapat penilaian sangat baik dari ahli materi, ahli media, guru, maupun peserta didik. Kata kunci: materi ajar, membaca pemahaman, teks cerpen, Articulate Storyline 3. ***** This study aims to develop teaching materials for reading comprehension skills in short stories using Articulate Storyline 3 media for eighth-grade junior high school students. This study is expected to support learning in reading comprehension of short stories. The research method used was research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects involved 108 eighth-grade students with data obtained through observation and a needs analysis questionnaire. The research data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the teaching materials obtained a feasibility score of 96% from the material validators, 98% from the media validators, and 93.3% from the Indonesian language teachers. The response test conducted on 24 eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 39 Jakarta showed a percentage of 89.42% in the “very feasible” category. These findings indicate that the interactive teaching materials developed are suitable for implementation in short story text learning at the eighth-grade junior high school level, in line with the Learning Outcomes (CP) for reading and viewing. Based on the evaluation results, the teaching materials developed were deemed feasible, effective, and innovative for use in learning. This study successfully produced learning products to improve students' short story reading comprehension skills, while also receiving excellent ratings from subject matter experts, media experts, teachers, and students.
