Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial dan regulasi emosi pada atlet futsal SMA sederajat di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 200 atlet futsal dari 10 SMA di Jakarta. Alat ukur yang digunakan Indonesian Emotion Regulation Questionnaires For Sport (IERQ4S) dan skala dukungan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial dan regulasi emosi pada atlet futsal SMA sederajat di Jakarta. Artinya, semakin tinggi dukungan sosial yang diterima atlet, maka semakin baik pula kemampuan regulasi emosinya, dan sebaliknya. ***** This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and emotion regulation among senior high school futsal athletes in Jakarta. This research employed a quantitative correlational approach. The sample consisted of 200 futsal athletes from 10 senior high schools in Jakarta. The instruments used in this study were the Indonesian Emotion Regulation Questionnaire for Sport (IERQ4S) and a social support scale. The results indicated a positive relationship between social support and emotion regulation among senior high school futsal athletes in Jakarta. This means that the higher the social support received by athletes, the better their emotion regulation abilities, and vice versa.
