Abstract

ABSTRAK Nia Savitri. 2026. Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Edcafe AI pada Keterampilan Berbicara di SMA Angkasa I Jakarta. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Prancis, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Edcafe AI untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Prancis siswa kelas X SMA Angkasa I Jakarta. Keterampilan berbicara merupakan kompetensi penting pada level A1 sesuai standar CECR, namun pembelajaran di sekolah masih menghadapi kendala seperti rendahnya kepercayaan diri siswa, kurangnya kesempatan praktik lisan, serta penggunaan media yang masih bersifat konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE oleh Branch (2009), yang mencakup tahap analysis, design, dan development. Tahap analysis dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pembelajaran secara lebih menyeluruh. Tahap design meliputi perancangan materi, alur pembelajaran, serta pemilihan fitur media yang relevan. Tahap development menghasilkan media Edcafe AI yang dilengkapi panduan penggunaan, flashcards, chatbot percakapan, latihan interaktif, dan evaluasi otomatis. Materi yang dikembangkan mencakup Les Lettres de l’Alphabet; Saluer, Demander des Nouvelles et Prendre Congé; et Se Présenter. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa media ini layak digunakan dan berpotensi meningkatkan interaktivitas, intensitas latihan lisan, serta kepercayaan diri siswa dalam berbicara bahasa Prancis. The Development of Edcafe AI–Based Instructional Media for Speaking Skills at SMA Angkasa I Jakarta. Thesis, French Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, Jakarta State University. This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Edcafe AI to improve the French-speaking skills of tenth-grade students at SMA Angkasa I Jakarta. Speaking skills are an essential competency at the beginner level (A1) according to the CEFR standards; however, French learning in schools still faces several challenges, such as students’ low confidence, limited opportunities for oral practice, and the use of learning media that remain conventional. This research employed the Research and Development method using the ADDIE model by Branch (2009), which includes the stages of analysis, design, and development. The analysis stage was carried out through observations, interviews, and questionnaires to identify learning needs more comprehensively. The design stage involved preparing the learning materials, structuring the instructional flow, and selecting relevant media features. The development stage produced Edcafe AI learning media equipped with user guides, flashcards, a conversational chatbot, interactive exercises, and automated evaluation. The materials developed include the alphabet, greeting expressions, and se présenter. Validation results by experts indicate that the media are feasible to use and have the potential to enhance interactivity, oral practice intensity, and students’ confidence in speaking French.
