Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat atau tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran Read, Answer, Disscus, Explain, and Create (RADEC) berbantuan Notion terhadap keterampilan menulis teks berita siswa kelas XI MAN 3 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang dirancang dalam bentuk Nonequevalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MAN 3 Jakarta, dengan sampel berupa dua kelas, yaitu kelas XI-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI-7 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah masing-masing kelas sebanyak 30 siswa. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh kelas eksperimen pada saat Pretest sebesar 57,20 sedangkan rata-rata yang diperoleh pada Posttest sebesar 82,23. Adapun pada kelas kontrol, nilai rata-rata Pretest 48,03 sedangkan pada Posttest 69,77. Berdasarkan hasil uji prasyarat yang dilakukan dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25, uji normalitas (Kolmogorov Smirnov) pada Pretest kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,200 dan pada Posttest sebesar 0,097 yang keduanya berada di atas batas signifikansi 0,05, maka dinyatakan data berdistribusi normal. Adapun uji homogenitas, menunjukkan rata-rata (based on mean) memperoleh nilai Sig. 0,56 > 0,05, maka dinyatakan data bersifat homogen. Selain itu, uji hipotesis yang dilakukan menujukan hasil Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat dinyatakan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai Pretest dan Posttest. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Read, Answer, Disscus, Explain, and Create (RADEC) berbantuan Notion mempunyai pengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks berita siswa kelas XI MAN 3 Jakarta.Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran Read, Answer, Disscus, Explain, and Create, keterampilan menulis, teks berita*****The purpose of this research is to determine whether or not there is an effect of the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create (RADEC) learning model assisted by Notion on the news text writing skills of grade XI students at MAN 3 Jakarta. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method designed in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population was grade XI students at MAN 3 Jakarta, with two classes as samples: grade XI-2 as the experimental class and grade XI-7 as the control class, with 30 students in each class. The average score obtained by the experimental class in the Pretest was 57.20, while the average score obtained in the Posttest was 82.23. In the control class, the average Pretest score was 48.03, while the Posttest score was 69.77. Based on the prerequisite test results conducted using SPSS version 25, the normality test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) for the Pretest in the experimental class was 0.200 and the Posttest was 0.097, both above the 0.05 significance level, indicating a normal distribution of the data. The homogeneity test showed a mean (based on the mean) of 0.56 > 0.05, indicating a homogeneity of the data. Furthermore, the hypothesis test showed a 2-tailed value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the Pretest and Posttest scores. This demonstrates that the use of the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create (RADEC) learning model with Notion has an impact on the news text writing skills of class XI 11 students at MAN 3 Jakarta.
