Abstract
Penelitian ini menguji model hipotetik pengaruh sustainability leadership terhadap sustainability performance melalui rangkaian mediasi sistemik organizational learning, sustainability organizational culture, psychological empowerment, strategic flexibility dan sustainability innovation. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional ini mengumpulkan data primer dari 274 karyawan level manajerial utama dan madya grup perusahaan PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (MIND ID) yang dipilih secara stratified random sampling. Kuesioner berbasis skala Likert 6 poin dengan 57 item yang mengukur 7 variabel didistribusikan secara daring kepada responden. Analisa data dilakukan menggunakan Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sustainability leadership berpengaruh secara positif terhadap sustainability performance melalui 3 jalur mediasi penuh yang signifikan; sustainability leadership secara positif memengaruhi (1) organizational learning, (2) sustainability organizational culture, dan (3) strategic flexibility. Ketiga kapabilitas tersebut kemudian terbukti secara positif dan signifikan memengaruhi sustainability innovation yang menjadi prediktor terkuat bagi sustainability performance. Jalur mediasi melalui psychological empowerment tidak terbukti signifikan. Kata Kunci: sustainability leadership, organizational learning, organizational culture, psychological empowerment, strategic flexibility, innovation, performance. ***** This study investigates a hypothesized model delineating the influence of sustainability leadership on organizational sustainability performance. The model proposes a series of systemic mediations through organizational learning, sustainability organizational culture, psychological empowerment, strategic flexibility, and sustainability innovation. Employing a quantitative, cross-sectional design, primary data were collected from 274 middle and main-level managers within the PT Mining Industry Indonesia (MIND ID) company group, selected via stratified random sampling. A 57-item questionnaire, utilizing a 6-point Likert scale to measure seven variables, was administered online. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that sustainability leadership exerts a positive influence on sustainability performance through three distinct and significant full mediation pathways. Specifically, sustainability leadership positively impacts (1) organizational learning, (2) sustainability organizational culture, and (3) strategic flexibility. These three capabilities subsequently demonstrate a significant and positive effect on sustainability innovation, which emerges as the strongest predictor of sustainability performance. Conversely, the hypothesized mediation pathway through psychological empowerment was not empirically supported. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the mechanisms by which sustainability leadership translates into tangible sustainability outcomes within organizations.
