Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh digital literacy dan self-efficacy terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII SMKN 14 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh transformasi digital yang telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia kerja dan masih tingginya tingkat pengangguran lulusan SMK serta adanya kesenjangan antara kompetensi yang dimiliki siswa dengan tuntutan dunia kerja. Lulusan SMK yang dipersiapkan untuk menjadi tenaga kerja setelah lulus dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan digital literacy yang didukung self-efficacy untuk bersaing dan beradaptasi dengan tuntutan dunia kerja saat ini. . Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode explanatory research. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 322 siswa dengan sampel 180 siswa yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling berdasarkan rumus Taro Yamane. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digital literacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja (t = 6.093; sig. 0,000), demikian pula self-efficacy (t = 13.614; sig. 0,000). Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan dengan F hitung 348,962 dan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,795, yang berarti 79,5% kesiapan kerja dipengaruhi oleh kedua variabel tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digital literacy dan self-efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Dengan demikian, digital literacy dan self-efficacy berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa. Oleh karena itu, sekolah perlu memperkuat pembelajaran berbasis digital dan pengembangan kepercayaan diri siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan praktik kerja lapangan. ***** This study aims to examine the influence of digital literacy and self-efficacy on the work readiness of Grade XII students at SMKN 14 Jakarta. This research is motivated by the rapid digital transformation that has significantly changed the world of work, the high unemployment rate among vocational high school graduates, and the gap between students’ competencies and labor market demands. Vocational high school graduates, who are expected to enter the workforce upon graduation, are required to possess digital literacy skills supported by self-efficacy in order to compete and adapt to current workplace demands. . This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research method. The population consists of 322 students, with a sample of 180 students selected using a proportionate random sampling technique based on the Taro Yamane formula. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS. The results show that digital literacy has a positive and significant effect on work readiness (t = 6.093; sig. 0.000), as does self-efficacy (t = 13.614; sig. 0.000). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect, with an F-value of 348,962 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.795, meaning that 79,5% of work readiness is influenced by these two variables. The results indicate that digital literacy and self-efficacy have a positive and significant influence on students’ work readiness, both partially and simultaneously. Thus, digital literacy and self-efficacy play an important role in improving students’ work readiness. Therefore, schools are encouraged to strengthen digital-based learning and develop students’ self-confidence through project-based learning and industrial internships.
