Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-modul termokimia berbasis etnokimia dengan pendekatan Context-Based Learning untuk siswa SMA kelas XI, serta mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan, dan respon siswa terhadapnya. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) di SMA Negeri 4 Bekasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru dan siswa kelas XI MIPA pada analisis kebutuhan, ahli materi, bahasa, dan media untuk uji kelayakan, guru kimia untuk uji kepraktisan, serta 72 siswa untuk uji respon terhadap e-modul. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase dan reliabilitas antar penilai menggunakan metode Prevalence-Adjusted Bias-Adjusted Kappa for Ordinal Scales (PABAK-OS). E-modul berbentuk Flipbook interaktif yang memadukan teks, gambar, video, dan simulasi budaya dari empat konteks kearifan lokal (pengasapan ikan Semarang, tradisi Sampaingat Dayak Kalimantan Tengah, Dile Jojor, dan Festival Meriam Karbit Pontianak). Hasil validasi materi dan bahasa memperoleh kategori sangat layak (92–100%) dengan nilai reliabilitas PABAK-OS sebesar 0,73 kategori good, validasi media sangat layak (90–95%) dengan nilai reliabilitas PABAK-OS sebesar 0,60 kategori moderate, uji kepraktisan guru sangat praktis (94–98%), dan respon siswa sangat positif (80–89%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan sangat layak, praktis, dan direspon positif untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar kimia di SMA. Kata kunci: bahan Ajar, etnokimia, termokimia, pendekatan kontekstual. ***** This study aims to develop an ethnochemistry-based thermochemistry e-module with a Context-Based Learning approach for eleventh-grade senior high school students, as well as to determine its validity, practicality, and student responses. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Bekasi. The research subjects included teachers and eleventh-grade science students for needs analysis, material, language, and media experts for feasibility testing, chemistry teachers for practicality testing, and 72 students for e-module response testing. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using percentage scores and inter-rater reliability measured by the Prevalence-Adjusted Bias-Adjusted Kappa for Ordinal Scales (PABAK-OS) method. The e-module was developed in the form of an interactive Flipbook integrating text, images, videos, and cultural simulations from four local wisdom contexts, namely fish smoking tradition in Semarang, Sampaingat tradition of Dayak Central Kalimantan, Dile Jojor tradition, and the Cannon Festival in Pontianak. The results showed that material and language validation obtained a very feasible category (92–100%) with a PABAK-OS reliability value of 0.73 classified as good agreement, media validation obtained a very feasible category (90–95%) with a PABAK-OS reliability value of 0.60 classified as moderate agreement, teacher practicality test obtained a very practical category (94–98%), and student responses were very positive (80–89%). It can be concluded that the developed e-module is very feasible, practical, and positively responded to as a chemistry teaching material for senior high school students.
