Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh interaksi simbolik terhadap pembentukan identitas kolektif Lockey Jatabek, mendeskripsikan pengalaman Lockey Jatabek dalam menghadiri konser menurut teori Interaksi Simbolik, serta menelaah relevansi teori Interaksi Simbolik terhadap pengalaman Lockey Jatabek dalam menghadiri konser. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data-data yang ada dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Kemudian, proses analisis data menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data, display data, reduksi data, serta kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu orang-orang yang tergabung ke dalam komunitas Lockey Jatabek yang menghadiri konser Secret Number bertajuk “PASSWORLD” pada tanggal 28 September 2024. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran interaksi simbolik terhadap pembentukan identitas kolektif Lockey Jatabek terlihat dari 3 aspek, yakni simbol sebagai makna dan bahasa sosial, norma komunitas dan solidaritas kolektif, juga rasa kebanggaan dan internalisasi identitas kolektif. Pengalaman Lockey Jatabek menghadiri konser menurut teori Interaksi Simbolik dapat dibagi menjadi 2 aspek, yaitu interaksi simbolik antarpenggemar dalam ruang konser dan konser sebagai ruang penguatan identitas dan emosi kolektif. Selain itu, relevansi teori Interaksi Simbolik dalam menelaah pengalaman Lockey Jatabek dalam menghadiri konser ditunjukkan lewat tiga konsep utama dalam teori Interaksi Simbolik. Konsep mind tampak dalam kemampuan anggota komunitas Lockey Jatabek menafsirkan simbol dan menyesuaikan tindakan, self terlihat dalam pembentukan identitas melalui dialektika antara ekspresi spontan dan norma komunitas Lockey Jatabek, sedangkan society tercermin dalam peran komunitas Lockey Jatabek sebagai lingkungan sosial yang mengatur, memberi makna, dan memperkuat perilaku kolektif. Kata kunci: Interaksi simbolik, konser K-pop, Lockey Jatabek, identitas fandom, Secret Number ***** This research aims to analyze the influence of symbolic interaction on the formation of the Lockey Jatabek collective identity, describe the Lockey Jatabek community's concert-going experiences through the lens of Symbolic Interaction theory, and examine the relevance of this theory to those experiences. The study employs a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection involved questionnaires, interviews, observation, documentation, and a literature review. Data analysis encompassed data collection, data display, data reduction, and conclusion drawing and verification. The research subjects were members of the Lockey Jatabek community who attended the Secret Number concert titled "PASSWORLD" on September 28, 2024. The findings indicate that the role of symbolic interaction on the formation of the Lockey Jatabek collective identity is evident in three aspects: symbols as meaning and social language; community norms and collective solidarity; and a sense of pride and the internalization of collective identity. The community's concert experiences, viewed through Symbolic Interaction theory, comprise two aspects: symbolic interaction among fans within the concert venue, and the concert as a space for reinforcing collective identity and emotions. Furthermore, the relevance of Symbolic Interaction theory to the Lockey Jatabek concert experience is demonstrated through three core concepts of the theory: "mind", seen in members' ability to interpret symbols and adjust their actions; "self", observed in identity formation through the dialectic between spontaneous expression and community norms; and "society", reflected in the community's role as a social environment that regulates, assigns meaning to, and reinforces collective behavior.
