Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Representasi Nilai-nilai Marhaenisme pada Majalah Dunia Wanita tahun 1960–1965. Rentang waktu tersebut dipilih karena mencerminkan perubahan orientasi majalah yang semakin memuat isu-isu politik pada masa Demokrasi Terpimpin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah yang meliputi pemilihan topik, heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Sumber primer yang digunakan berupa Majalah Dunia Wanita edisi 1960–1965, sedangkan sumber sekunder diperoleh dari buku dan jurnal yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Majalah Dunia Wanita tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media informasi bagi perempuan, tetapi juga merepresentasikan nilai-nilai Marhaenisme melalui berbagai rubrik yang mengangkat peran perempuan sebagai bagian dari kaum Marhaen, nasionalisme dan revolusi nasional, serta anti-imperialisme, anti-kapitalisme, dan sosialisme Indonesia. Representasi tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa perempuan dikonstruksikan sebagai subjek yang berperan aktif dalam pembangunan bangsa dan perjuangan nasional, sehingga majalah ini menjadi salah satu media yang merefleksikan dinamika ideologis Indonesia pada masa Demokrasi Terpimpin. ***** This study aims to analyze the representation of Marhaenist values in Dunia Wanita Magazine during the 1960–1965 period. This time period was chosen because it reflects the magazine's shift in orientation, which increasingly included political issues during the Guided Democracy era. This study uses historical methods that include topic selection, heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The primary source used is the 1960–1965 edition of Dunia Wanita Magazine, while secondary sources are obtained from relevant books and journals. The results of the study indicate that Dunia Wanita Magazine not only functions as an information medium for women, but also represents Marhaenist values through various columns that highlight the role of women as part of the Marhaen community, nationalism and national revolution, as well as anti-imperialism, anti capitalism, and Indonesian socialism. This representation shows that women are constructed as subjects who play an active role in nation-building and the national struggle, making this magazine one of the media that reflects the ideological dynamics of Indonesia during the Guided Democracy era.
