Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan suami usia subur dan sikap terhadap partisipasi dalam penggunaan kontrasepsi pria di Kecamatan Bekasi Selatan, Kota Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 11.989 pasangan usia subur. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus lemeshow dan didapatkan sampel sebanyak 62 sampel. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian pada Mei - Desember 2025. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu dengan melakukan observasi dan kuesioner. Kuesioner pada penelitian ini berupa kuesioner tertutup berjumlah 30 soal pernyataan yang meliputi 15 soal untuk mengetahui pengetahuan suami usia subur dan 15 soal untuk mengukur sikap terhadap metode kontrasepsi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji instrumen (uji validitas, uji reliabilitas), uji asumsi klasik (uji normalitas, uji linearitas) dan uji hipotesis (uji korelasi product moment). Hasil penelitian mendukung hipotesis alternatif (Ha) dengan nilai r sebesar 0,607 yang mengindikasikan hubungan yang kuat dan positif. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan suami pada pasangan usia subur dengan sikap terhadap metode kontrasepsi pria di Kecamatan Bekasi Selatan, Kota Bekasi. **** This study aims to provide an overview of the knowledge and attitudes of husbands of childbearing age regarding participation in the use of male contraception in South Bekasi District, Bekasi City. The research design employs a quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach. The population of this study consists of 11,989 couples of childbearing age. The sample size was determined using the Lemeshow formula, resulting in a total of 62 samples. The study was conducted from May to December 2025. Data collection techniques included observation and questionnaires. The research instrument used was a closed-ended questionnaire consisting of 30 statement items, comprising 15 items to assess the knowledge of husbands of childbearing age and 15 items to measure their attitudes toward contraceptive methods. Data analysis was performed using instrument testing (validity and reliability tests), classic assumption testing (normality and linearity tests), and hypothesis testing (Pearson product-moment correlation test). The results support the alternative hypothesis (Ha) with an r-value of 0.607, indicating a strong and positive correlation. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the knowledge of husbands of childbearing age and their attitudes toward male contraceptive methods in South Bekasi District, Bekasi City.
