Abstract
***** This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life integration on job satisfaction among employees in Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The study sample consisted of 219 permanent employees working in both private and government institutions in Indonesia, selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using the Work-Life Integration Scale developed by Kumar and Sarkar (2021), which consists of 17 items, as well as a job satisfaction instrument adapted from The Short Index of Job Satisfaction (SIJS) by Purwanto et al. (2025), which consists of three valid items. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that work-life integration has a significant effect on job satisfaction (p < 0.05). However, the coefficient of determination (R² = 0.048) indicates that work-life integration contributes only 4.8% to job satisfaction, while the remaining 95.2% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. These findings suggest that work-life integration is one of the factors contributing to job satisfaction but is not the primary determinant of employee job satisfaction.
