Abstract
**** Turnover intention among Generation Z has become one of the major challengesfor organizations, including employees working under flexible workingarrangements (FWA). This study aimed to examine the ef ect of work engagement on turnover intention among Generation Z employees working under FWAintheGreater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). This study employed a quantitative approachusing a survey method and purposive sampling technique involving 143 full-timeGeneration Z employees working under FWA. Data were collected usingtheUtrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17) and the Expanded Multidimensional Turnover Intention Scale (EMTIS), and were analyzed using simple linearregression. The results showed that work engagement had a significant negativeef ect on turnover intention. Work engagement contributed 11.2%to turnoverintention, while the remaining 88.8% was explained by other factors not examinedin this study. These findings indicate that higher levels of work engagement areassociated with lower levels of turnover intention among Generation Z employees. Therefore, work engagement is considered one of the psychological factors that explains turnover intention among Generation Z employees working underflexible working arrangements (FWA).
