Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen pengukuran moderasi beragama pada peserta didik SMP dengan pendekatan Model Multi-Atribut Fishbein yang diperluas melalui kerangka Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Instrumen ini dirancang untuk mengukur empat dimensi utama moderasi beragama, yaitu keterbukaan intelektual, orientasi etis-kemanusiaan, penerimaan pluralitas budaya dan agama, serta ketahanan terhadap narasi ekstrem. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Tahap Define dilakukan melalui analisis kebutuhan dan telaah teori, tahap Design meliputi penyusunan butir berbasis ATCT (Action, Target, Context, Time), tahap Develop mencakup validasi konten oleh pakar serta uji coba lapangan; dan tahap Disseminate berupa penyajian instrumen final. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen awal terdiri dari 52 butir, namun setelah proses validasi dan analisis faktor, beberapa item dihapus sehingga instrumen final berjumlah 47 butir. Validitas konten sangat baik dengan Aiken’s V rata-rata 0,92, sedangkan validitas konstruk dikonfirmasi melalui EFA, CFA, dan Rasch Rating Scale Model. Reliabilitas berdasarkan analisis Rasch menunjukkan reliabilitas person adalah 0,85 dan reliabilitas item adalah 0,94, menandakan konsistensi pengukuran yang tinggi. Selain itu, hasil CFA menghasilkan Composite Reliability (CR ≥ 0,70) dan Average Variance Extracted (AVE ≥ 0,50) pada seluruh konstruk, menegaskan reliabilitas dan validitas konvergen instrumen. Secara keseluruhan, instrumen ini terbukti adaptif, kontekstual, dan layak digunakan untuk mengukur sikap moderasi beragama peserta didik SMP. Lebih jauh, instrumen ini dapat diadaptasi untuk penelitian lain maupun praktik pendidikan yang menekankan nilai toleransi, pluralisme, dan resolusi damai di tingkat pendidikan menengah. Instrumen ini juga berpotensi menjadi alat praktis bagi guru, konselor, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam memantau serta mengembangkan sikap moderasi beragama peserta didik secara berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Moderasi Beragama, Fishbein, TPB, Instrumen, SMP ***** This study aims to develop a measurement instrument for religious moderation among junior high school students using the Multi-Attribute Fishbein Model, extended through the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework. The instrument is designed to measure four core dimensions of religious moderation: intellectual openness, ethical-humanitarian orientation, acceptance of cultural and religious plurality, and resilience against extremist narratives. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The Define stage involved needs analysis and theoretical review; the Design stage included item formulation based on the ATCT (Action, Target, Context, Time) framework; the Develop stage comprised expert content validation and pilot testing; and the Disseminate stage presented the finalized instrument. The initial instrument consisted of 52 items, but after validation and factor analysis, several items were deleted, resulting in a final instrument of 47 items. Content validity was excellent, with an average Aiken’s V of 0.92, while construct validity was confirmed through Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Rasch Rating Scale Model analysis. Reliability analysis using Rasch indicated person reliability = 0.85 and item reliability = 0.94, reflecting strong measurement consistency. Furthermore, CFA results showed Composite Reliability (CR ≥ 0.70) and Average Variance Extracted (AVE ≥ 0.50) across all constructs, confirming both reliability and convergent validity. Overall, this instrument has proven to be adaptive, contextual, and suitable for measuring junior high school students’ attitudes toward religious moderation. Furthermore, the instrument can be adapted for other research contexts as well as educational practices that emphasize values of tolerance, pluralism, and peaceful conflict resolution at the secondary education level. It also holds potential as a practical tool for teachers, counselors, and policymakers to monitor and foster students’ attitudes toward religious moderation in a sustainable manner.
