Abstract
***** The high unemployment rate among university graduates in Indonesia highlights the importance of entrepreneurship as an alternative means of job creation. However, entrepreneurial intention among university students remains relatively low. This study aims to examine the influence of entrepreneurial motivation and family support, measured using the Perceived Social Support from Family (PSS-Fa) developed by Procidano and Heller (1983), on entrepreneurial intention among university students. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to active undergraduate students in Indonesia using a convenience sampling technique. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial motivation and family support simultaneously have a significant effect on entrepreneurial intention, explaining 62.0% of its variance. Partially, entrepreneurial motivation has a significant positive effect, whereas family support has a significant negative effect on entrepreneurial intention. These findings suggest that entrepreneurial motivation is a more dominant predictor of entrepreneurial intention, while the influence of family support requires further investigation.
