Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami optimalisasi lingkungan kerja fisik pada Divisi Finance PT Soechi Lines Tbk. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan tiga informan yang memiliki keterlibatan langsung terhadap penggunaan dan pengelolaan lingkungan kerja fisik di Divisi Finance PT Soechi Lines Tbk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan kerja fisik secara umum telah mendukung aktivitas kerja administratif sehari-hari melalui ketersediaan fasilitas kerja, tata ruang kerja terbuka, serta maintenance fasilitas yang dilakukan perusahaan secara berkala. Akan tetapi, masih terdapat beberapa kondisi yang perlu diperhatikan seperti kepadatan area kerja, pengelolaan ruang arsip, pencahayaan alami, dan pemerataan suhu ruangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa optimalisasi lingkungan kerja fisik telah dilakukan melalui penyediaan fasilitas kerja, maintenance fasilitas, dan pengaturan tata ruang kerja sesuai kebutuhan operasional perusahaan, namun masih diperlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut agar lingkungan kerja menjadi lebih nyaman dan tertata. ***** This study aims to understand the optimization of the physical work environment in the Finance Division of PT Soechi Lines Tbk. The study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation involving three informants who were directly involved in the use and management of the physical work environment in the Finance Division of PT Soechi Lines Tbk. The results showed that the physical work environment generally supported daily administrative activities through the availability of work facilities, open workspace arrangements, and routine facility maintenance carried out by the company. However, several conditions still require attention, such as workspace density, archive management, natural lighting, and temperature distribution. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the optimization of the physical work environment has been carried out through the provision of work facilities, facility maintenance, and workspace arrangement according to the company’s operational needs, although further improvements are still needed to create a more comfortable and organized work environment.
