Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konseptual siswa kelas V SD dalam operasi perkalian desimal dan keterbatasan media visual penunjangnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan teoretis dan praktis dari media pembelajaran "Papan Area Desimal" menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE hingga tahap implementasi. Uji coba dilakukan di SDN Kayumanis 01 Jakarta Timur melibatkan kelompok kecil (6 siswa) dan uji lapangan (30 siswa). Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa media ini sangat layak dengan persentase 81,33% (ahli media), 90,66% (ahli materi), dan 93,33% (ahli bahasa). Tingkat kepraktisan juga berkategori sangat bagus dengan rata-rata respons siswa sebesar 82,66% pada uji kelompok kecil dan meningkat menjadi 85,60% pada uji lapangan, didukung nilai rata-rata tes kognitif siswa sebesar 88,54. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media "Papan Area Desimal" sangat layak, praktis, dan menarik untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Papan Area Desimal, Perkalian Bilangan Desimal, Model ADDIE ***** This study was motivated by the low level of conceptual understanding among fifth-grade elementary students regarding decimal multiplication operations and the limited availability of supporting visual media. The study aimed to develop and test the theoretical and practical feasibility of a learning medium called the "Decimal Area Board" (Papan Area Desimal), employing the Research and Development (R&D) method based on the ADDIE model up to the implementation stage. Trials were conducted at SDN Kayumanis 01, East Jakarta, involving a small group (6 students) and a field test (30 students). Expert validation results indicated that the medium was highly feasible, with scores of 81.33% (media expert), 90.66% (subject matter expert), and 93.33% (linguistics expert). Practicality was also rated as excellent, with average student response scores of 82.66% in the small-group trial and 85.60% in the field test, supported by an average student cognitive test score of 88.54. It can be concluded that the "Decimal Area Board" is highly feasible, practical, and engaging for use in elementary school mathematics instruction.
