Abstract
***** This study aims to develop a 3-phase motor trainer as a learning medium for practical sessions in the Electrical Machines course, Electrical Engineering Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The developed trainer is capable of simulating four types of motor control circuits, namely Direct Online (DOL), Reverse Forward, Star Delta, and alternating two-motor operation. The test results show that all trainer components, including the MCB, contactor, thermal overload relay (TOR), time delay relay (TDR), and emergency stop button, function properly according to their respective working principles. Testing of the motor control circuits and interlock system also showed good results, indicating that the trainer is suitable for use as a practical learning medium. This research is expected to help students understand the working principles of 3-phase motor control circuits in a more applicable way.
