Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis science capital pada materi energi terbarukan yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VI sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang dimodifikasi oleh Branch, melalui tahapan analyze, design, develop, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah 44 peserta didik kelas VI SDN Mangunjaya 01, Tambun Selatan, Bekasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, kuesioner, lembar validasi ahli, dan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis berbentuk uraian. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan LKPD sangat layak dengan rata-rata persentase 86,92% (bahasa 84,72%, materi 81,86%, media 94,17%). Uji coba lapangan (field test) memperoleh respons peserta didik sebesar 93,18% dengan kategori sangat layak. Efektivitas LKPD diukur melalui pretest dan posttest yang dianalisis dengan N-Gain score. Rata-rata skor pretest 46 meningkat menjadi 78 pada posttest dengan nilai N-Gain 0,59 (kategori sedang). Sebanyak 40 peserta didik (90,9%) berada pada kategori N-Gain sedang dan 4 peserta didik (9,1%) mencapai kategori tinggi. Selain itu, potensi science capital peserta didik meningkat dari rata-rata 55,0% menjadi 72,7% setelah menggunakan LKPD. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis science capital efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan modal sains peserta didik, serta direkomendasikan sebagai bahan ajar alternatif dalam pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar. ***** This study aims to develop a Science Capital-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) on renewable energy topics that is valid, practical, and effective for enhancing critical thinking skills of sixth-grade elementary school students. The research employed Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE model modified by Branch, encompassing five stages: analyze, design, develop, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 44 sixth-grade students of SDN Mangunjaya 01, Tambun Selatan, Bekasi. Data collection instruments included interviews, questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and essay-type critical thinking skills tests. Expert validation results indicated that the LKPD was highly feasible with an average percentage of 86.92% (language 84.72%, content 81.86%, media 94.17%). The field test obtained student response of 93.18% in the highly feasible category. The effectiveness of the LKPD was measured through pretest and posttest analyzed using N-Gain score. The average pretest score of 46 increased to 78 in the posttest with an N-Gain value of 0.59 (moderate category). A total of 40 students (90.9%) were in the moderate N-Gain category, while 4 students (9.1%) achieved the high category. Furthermore, students' science capital potential increased from an average of 55.0% to 72.7% after using the LKPD. This study concludes that the Science Capital-based LKPD is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills and science capital, and is recommended as an alternative teaching material in elementary science learning.
