Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empiris mengenai hubungan antara intensitas hukuman dengan kedisiplinan siswa di MTs Minhajut Tholibin Kalideres Jakarta Barat Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 siswa kelas VII dan VIII di MTs Minhajut Tholibin Kalideres Jakarta Barat. Uji persyaratan analisis yang dilakukan yaitu uji normalitas menggunakan rumus liliefors diperoleh hasil variabel X (Intensitas Hukuman) Lhitung = 0,122 < Ltabel = 0,125 sedangkan variabel Y (Kedisiplinan Siswa) diperoleh Lhitung = 0,120 < Ltabel = 0,125 dengan demikian Lhitung < Ltabel sehingga variabel X (Intensitas Hukuman) dan variabel Y (Kedisiplinan Siswa) berdistribusi normal. Selanjutnya yaitu uji linieritas diperoleh persamaan regresi Y ̂= 0,25 + 0,86X. Peneliti selanjutnya melakukan uji hipotesis yang dimaksudkan untuk mencari keberartian regresi, sehingga diperoleh Fhitung = 39,91 > Ftabel = 4,04. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa regresi yang diperoleh ada berarti. Sedangkan uji kelinieran regresi memperoleh Fhitung = 0,93 < Ftabel = 2,00 dengan demikian regresi bersifat linier. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji korelasi product moment dihasilkan rhitung = 0,675 > rtabel = 0,279 artinya terdapat hubungan positif dan berada pada kategori kuat. Uji signifikansi hubungan menggunakan Uji t dihasilkan thitung = 6,338 > ttabel = 2,010 artinya hubungan yang terjadi antara variabel X (Intensitas Hukuman) dan variabel Y (Kedisiplinan Siswa) adalah signifikan. Uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh KD sebesar 45,56% artinya besar kontribusi intensitas hukuman terhadap kedisiplinan siswa sebesar 45,56% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Kesimpulan dari hasil analisis adalah terdapat hubungan positif dan berada pada kategori kuat antara intensitas hukuman dengan kedisiplinan siswa di MTs Minhajut Tholibin Kalideres Jakarta Barat. This research aimed to obtain empirical data about The Relationship between the Intensity of Punishment with Student Discipline at MTs Minhajut Tholibin Kalideres, West Jakarta Academic Year 2019/2020. The method used in this research is a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique is using stratified random, with a total sample of 50 students in class VII and VIII at MTs Minhajut Tholibin Kalideres, West Jakarta. Test requirements analysis performed is the normality test using the liliefors formula obtained X variable (Intensity of Punishment) Lhitung = 0.122 < Ltabel = 0.125 while Y variable (Student Discipline) obtained Lhitung = 0.120 < Ltabel = 0.125 thus Lhitung < Ltable so that variable X (Intensity of Punishment) and Y variable (Student Discipline) are normally distributed. Next is the linearity test obtained by the regression equation Y ̂= 0,25 + 0,86X. The researcher further to test the hypothesis which is intended to look for regression significance, so that Fhitung = 39,91> Ftabel = 4,04 is obtained. This shows that the regression obtained is meaningful. While the linearity test of regression obtained Fhitung = 0.93 < Ftabel = 2.00 thus the regression is linear. Then the product moment correlation test is performed, resulting rhitung= 0.675 > rtabel = 0.279, which means there is a positive relationship and is in a strong category. Test the significance of the relationship using the t test generated thitung= 6.338 > ttabel = 2.010 means that the relationship between the X variable (Intensity of Punishment) and the Y variable (Student Discipline) is significant. The coefficient of determination test obtained by KD of 45.56% means that the contribution of the intensity of punishment to the discipline of students is 45.56%, the rest is influenced by other variables. The conclusion from the analysis there is a positive relationship and is in a strong category between the intensity of punishment and student discipline at MTs Minhajut Tholibin Kalideres, West Jakarta.
