Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview implementation inclusive education in 97 Junior High School of East Jakarta. This research use a descriptive method. To obtain the required data, this study using a close questionnaire, direct observation of interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study are inclusive students of grade VII, VII, IX and teachers who teach in inclusive classes. Total subjects of this study as many 21 students and 38 teachers. The results showed the component of inclusive education has been running well, although there are still some components that have not been implemented properly. The relation of teacher with inclusive student included cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. In the cognitive aspect, the teacher doesn’t understand characteristic of inclusive student, the teacher has belief individual differences in inclusive student, the teacher has positive view about the existence of inclusive student, the teacher has material knowledge in appropriate with the characteristic of inclusive student. In the affective aspect, the teacher has good feelings towards inclusive student, the teacher has the willingness to be a motivator for inclusive student, the teacher has tolerance for inclusive student. In the psychomotor aspect, the teacher has become an example for inclusive student, the teacher weave good communication with inclusive student, the teacher is able to teach methods and learning media that are appropriate to the characteristic of inclusive student. The relation of inclusive student with teacher is quite good, such as the ability of teacher in the learning process, the ability of teacher to interact, and the ability of teacher to provide inclusive education services. The relation of inclusion student with regular student is still lacking, because the response of regular student to the diversity of individual inclusive student is still low, and there is discrimination or intimidation physically, verbally, body cues, and form groups to harm inclusive student by regular student. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran implementasi pendidikan inklusif di SMPN 97 di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Untuk mendapatkan data yang dibutuhkan, penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner tertutup, observasi langsung wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII, VII, IX dan guru yang mengajar di kelas inklusif. Total subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 21 siswa dan 38 guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komponen pendidikan inklusif telah berjalan dengan baik, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa komponen yang belum terlaksana dengan baik. Hubungan guru dengan siswa inklusi meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Aspek kognitif, terdapat guru tidak memahami karakteristik siswa inklusi, guru memiliki kepercayaan adanya perbedaan individu dalam siswa inklusi, guru memiliki pandangan positif tentang keberadaan siswa inklusi, guru memiliki pengetahuan materi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa inklusi. Aspek afektif, guru memiliki perasaan yang baik terhadap siswa inklusi, guru memiliki kemauan untuk menjadi motivator siswa inklusi, guru memiliki toleransi terhadap siswa inklusi. Aspek psikomotorik, guru telah menjadi teladan untuk siswa inklusi, guru menjalin komunikasi yang baik dengan siswa inklusi, guru mampu mengajarkan metode dan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa inklusi. Hubungan siswa inklusi dengan guru cukup baik, seperti kemampuan guru dalam proses pembelajaran, kemampuan guru dalam berinteraksi, dan kemampuan guru untuk menyediakan layanan pendidikan inklusif. Hubungan siswa inklusi dengan siswa reguler masih kurang, karena respon siswa reguler terhadap keragaman individu siswa inklusi masih rendah, dan adanya diskriminasi atau intimidasi secara fisik, verbal, isyarat tubuh, dan membentuk kelompok untuk menyakiti siswa inklusi oleh siswa reguler.
