Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menemukan model pembelajaran Pengantar Linguistik Bahasa Inggris yang tepat agar dapat memperkuat kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mempelajari konsep-konsep linguistik. Penelitian ini menerapkan desain Penelitian dan Pengembangan yang diadopsi dari Borg dan Gall melalui beberapa tahap; penelitian pendahuluan, perencanaan pengembangan model pembelajaran, evaluasi formatif dan revisi model pembelajaran, dan produk akhir. Penelitian ini mengembangkan model dengan memanfaatkan teknologi terbaru. Proses pembelajaran daring akan bermakna dilakukan dengan sebuah pendekatan. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan adalah CALLA. Keunikan penelitian ini adalah menggabungkan LMS yang tersedia di Universitas Negeri Semarang, yaitu ELENA yang dikombinasikan dengan tahapan CALLA. Model tersebut dapat menjadi solusi dan diimplementasikan secara efektif. Hal itu dapat dilihat dari hasil rata-rata post-test yang lebih baik dari hasil pre-test, persepsi mahasiswa yang positif terhadap model itu, dan observasi dan pengamatan melalui kelengkapan aktivitas memadai yang dilakukan mahasiswa dalam menerapkan model tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk berupa model pembelajaran daring Pengantar linguistik bahasa Inggris berbasis CALLA. The purpose of this study is to find an appropriate learning model of English language linguistics to strengthen the ability of students to learn linguistic concepts. This study applies the Research and Development design adopted from Borg and Gall through several stages; preliminary research, planning learning model development, formative evaluation and revision of learning models, and the final product. This research develops a model by utilizing the latest technology. The online learning process will be meaningful if done with one approach. One approach that can be used is CALLA. The uniqueness of this research is that it combines the LMS available at Semarang State University, namely ELENA combined with the CALLA stage. The model can be a solution and implemented effectively. It can be seen from the average post-test results which are better than the pre-test results, positive student perceptions of the model, and observations through the completeness of adequate activities carried out by students in applying the model. The results of this study are products in the model CALLA-based ELENA to Introduction to Linguistics course.
