Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan pemahaman tentang hak cipta dengan pelanggaran tindak pengunduhan film gratis di situs internet. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari-April 2020. Pemahaman hak cipta berhubungan dengan pelanggaran pengunduhan film, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode korelasi product moment, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu, dengan jumlah sampel terdiri dari 80 responden. Tes soal digunakan untuk mendapatkan data variabel X, sedangkan kuesioner digunakan untuk mendapatkan data variabel Y. Teknik uji coba menggunakan rumus Cronbach’s Alpha, sedangkan teknik uji prasyarat analisis dan uji hipotesis menggunakan software SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan data dan analisis yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan nilai rhitung 0,541 yaitu berkorelasi sedang, dan terdapat hubungan positif antara pemahaman hak cipta dengan pelanggaran pengunduhan film, maka hipotesis diterima. Mahasiswa/i diharapkan mengetahui tindakan yang salah atau benar dalam mengapresiasi suatu karya. Kata kunci: hak cipta, pelanggaran ************************** This research aimed to determine whether there is a relationship or not between comprehension about copyrights with the violation of acts downloading free movie on the internet site. This research was conducted in February-April 2020. Comprehension of copyrights is associated with violations of downloading movie by using a quantitative approach and correlation product moment method, sampling used a purposive sampling technique that is determining the sample with certain consideration, with a total sample it took 80 respondents. The test items are used to get data of the X variable, while the questionnaire is used to get data of the Y variable. The testing technique uses the Cronbach’s Alpha formula, while the prerequisite test analysis and hypothesis testing techniques used SPSS version 22. The research result of the data and analysis which has been done show that calculated rcount 0,541 which is moderately correlated and there is positive relation between the comprehensions of copyrights with violations of downloading movie, this hypothesis is accepted. Students are expected to know what is wrong or right in appreciating a work. Keywords: copyrights, violent
