Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan dunia tokoh Mifta dalam novel KDH karya Mahfud Ikhwan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Bogor, sejak bulan Oktober 2019 hingga Juli 2020. Tujuan penelitian ini (1) mendeskripsikan struktur novel KDH karya Mahfud Ikhwan dengan kajian naratologi yang dibatasi pada alur, tokoh, dan latar, (2) mendeskripsikan struktur sosial novel KDH karya Mahfud Ikhwan dengan kajian strukturalisme genetik, dan (3) menjelaskan hubungan struktur novel dan struktur sosial dengan kajian strukturalisme genetik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif metode deksriptif dan dialektik yang dikaitkan dengan teori Strukturalisme Genetik Goldmann. Diketahui bahwa alur novel KDH yang memliki struktur yang sejenis dengan kondisi sosial masyarakat Indonesia pada masa Orde Lama, Orde Baru, era reformasi, sampai masa sekarang. Karakter tokoh juga dikembangkan oleh Mahfud Ikhwan sampai terbentuk relasi antartokoh yang memperlihatkan pandangan dunia. Latar dalam novel KDH dibentuk sesuai dengan realita waktu yang ada karena unsur-unsurnya akan saling berhubungan dengan konteks historis itu sendiri. Struktur sosial dalam novel KDH terdiri dari subjek trans-individual yang berhubungan dengan sejarah NU-Muhammadiyah dan kelompok sosial pengarang yang mana Mahfud Ikhwan dikelompokkan menjadi kelompok intelektual muslim. Setelah menganalisis struktur novel dan struktur sosial, ditemukan dua hubungan yaitu penyebab sejarah konflik NU-Muhammadiyah dan peran generasi muda dalam ruang intelektualnya melihat konflik agama. Melalui analisis tersebut kemudian ditemukan pandangan dunia dalam novel KDH yaitu pandangan kelompok intelektual muslim pada rekonsiliasi konflik NU dan Muhammadiyah. This study aims to determine the world view of Mifta in the novel KDH by Mahfud Ikhwan. This research was conducted in Bogor, from October 2019 to July 2020. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the structure of Mahfud Ikhwan's novel KDH with narratological studies limited to plot, characters, and setting, (2) to describe the social structure KDH novel by Mahfud Ikhwan with the study of genetic structuralism, and (3) explaining the relationship between novel structures and social structures with the study of genetic structuralism. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, descriptive and dialectical methods associated with Goldmann's theory of genetic structuralism. It is known that the KDH novel plot has a structure similar to the social conditions of Indonesian society during the Old Order, New Order, reform era, to the present. The character of the figures was also developed by Mahfud Ikhwan to form relationships between figures showing a world view. The setting in the KDH novel is formed in accordance with the existing realities of time because the elements will be related to the historical context itself. The social structure in the KDH novel consists of trans-individual subjects related to the history of NU-Muhammadiyah and social groups of authors in which Mahfud Ikhwan is grouped into Muslim intellectual groups. After analyzing the novel structure and social structure, two relationships were found, namely the historical causes of the NU-Muhammadiyah conflict and the role of the younger generation in seeing religious conflicts. Through this analysis, the world view in the KDH novel is found, namely the view of Muslim intellectual groups on the reconciliation of the conflict between NU and Muhammadiyah.
