Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh dari media video tutorial terhadap kemampuan menggambar bentuk alam benda pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 286 Jakarta di masa pandemi COVID-19 saat proses pembelajaran jarak jauh dilaksanakan yaitu melalui hasil karya gambar bentuk alam benda yang dibuat siswa. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metodologi kuantitatif dengan metode pre- eksperiment berdesain one group pretest and posttest design. Siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 286 Jakarta merupakan populasi penelitian. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa usia 12-14 tahun. Pengumpulan data yaitu melalui studi pustaka dan kegiatan lapangan menggunakan instrumen penelitian yang telah dibuat untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dengan kegiatan pretest dan posttest didalamnya. Hasil analis data dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan (korelasi) antara nilai pretest dan posttest yaitu dengan nilai 0.606, berdasarkan nilai probabilitas maka H1 diterima yang artinya “ada pengaruh media video tutorial terhadap kemampuan gambar bentuk alam benda pada siswa kelas VII usia 12-14 tahun (remaja awal) SMPN 286 Jakarta di Masa Pandemi COVID-19”. Hasil analisis tersebut didapatkan dari hasil penilaian karya pretest dan posttest pada kelompok eksperimen saat proses pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa pandemi COVID-19. Media video tutorial gambar bentuk alam benda tidak menggantikan kehadiran guru saat proses pembelajaran. Video tutorial dapat membantu guru saat menjelaskan materi gambar bentuk alam benda pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Dari hasil penilaian karya juga menunjukan bahwa perolehan nilai pada aspek keterampilan lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan aspek komposisi dalam penilaian karya gambar siswa. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan dan pemahaman siswa dalam memahami prinsip-prinsip gambar bentuk alam benda karena dipengaruhi oleh minat belajar siswa yang berbeda, teman sebaya mempengaruhi fokus siswa, waktu bimbingan dan proses pembelajaran online di masa pandemi COVID-19, indikator penilaian karya yang tinggi, rendahnya pemahaman soal instruksi tugas, pengetahuan gambar bentuk siswa yang rendah, topologi gambar anak serta faktor lainnya yang tidak dapat dikendalikan oleh peneliti yang dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil penelitian. This research aims to find out the influence of video tutorial media on the ability to draw natural shapes of objects in grade VIII SMP Negeri 286 Jakarta during the COVID-19 pandemic when the distance learning process is carried out through the work of drawing natural objects made by students. The research methodology used is quantitative methodology with pre-experimental method designed one group pretest and posttest design. Grade VIII students at SMPN 286 Jakarta are the research population. The samples used are students aged 12-14 years. Data collection is through the study of libraries and field activities using research instruments that have been made for use in learning activities with pretest and posttest activities in it. The results of the data analysts in this study showed that there is a relationship (correlation) between pretest and posttest values, namely with a value of 0.606, based on the probability value, H1 is accepted which means "there is an influence of video tutorial media on the ability of natural form images of objects in grade VII students aged 12-14 years (early teens) SMPN 286 Jakarta during the COVID-19 pandemic". The results of the analysis were obtained from the assessment of pretest and posttest work in the experimental group during the distance learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. Media video tutorial images of natural forms of objects do not replace the presence of teachers during the learning process. Video tutorials can help teachers when explaining the material of natural shapes of objects in learning activities. From the results of the assessment of the work also showed that the gain of value in the skill aspect is lower compared to the composition aspect in the assessment of the student's drawing work. It is influenced by the ability and understanding of students in understanding the principles of drawing natural forms of objects because it is influenced by different student learning interests, peers influence student focus, guidance time and online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic, indicators of high work assessment, low understanding of assignment instructions, low student form image knowledge, child image topology and other factors that can not be controlled by researchers that can influence the results of research.
