Abstract
ABSTRAK Nastiti Wulandari. 2021. Stereotip Imigran Aljazair Melalui Tokoh Utama Sami Ben Boudaoud dalam Film Neuilly sa Mère karya Gabriel Julien-Laferrière. Skripsi. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Prancis, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui jenis stereotip imigran Aljazair yang direpresentasikan melalui tokoh utama Sami Ben Boudaoud dalam film Neuilly sa Mère karya Gabriel Julien-Laferrière. Terdapat 3 jenis stereotip milik Taylor & Porter yang ada didalam penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) Stereotip Rasial, 2) Stereotip Kultural, 3) Stereotip Gender. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis data ini digunakan untuk memaparkan jenis stereoip yang dikemukakan oleh Taylor & Porter. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 3 tahap menurut Miles dan Huberman, yaitu tahap reduksi data, tahap penyajian data, dan tahap penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi data. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara membuat tabel analisis data berupa tabel jenis stereotip. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 12 kata dan kalimat yang menunjukkan jenis stereotip di dalam film Neuilly sa Mère. Jenis stereotip yang dominan adalah Stereotip Rasial yaitu sebanyak 6 kalimat. Lalu Stereotip Kultural sebanyak 5 kalimat. Dan yang terakhir Stereotip Gender sebanyak 1 kalimat. French Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This study aims to determine the stereotype of Algerian immigrants represented by the main character Sami Ben Boudaoud in the film Neuilly sa Mère by Gabriel Julien-Laferrière. There are 3 types of stereotypes belonging to Taylor & Porter in this study: 1) Racial Stereotype, 2) Cultural Stereotype, 3) Gender Stereotype. This descriptive qualitative research with data analysis techniques is used to describe the types of stereoypes proposed by Taylor & Porter. The data analysis technique is divided into 3 stages according to Miles and Huberman: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The instrument used in this study was to create a data analysis table in the form of a table of stereotypes. The results of this study indicate that there are 12 words and sentences that indicate the type of stereotype in the film Neuilly sa Mère. The dominant type of stereotype is the Racial-Ethnic Stereotype, which is 6 sentences. Then the Cultural Stereotype is 5 sentences. And last, the Gender Stereotype is 1 sentence.
