Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan, motivasi belajar IPA melalui model pembelajaran Children Learning In Science (CLIS) tentang Benda dan Sifatnya dan Sifat Bahan dan Kegunaanya pada siswa kelas IV SDN Menteng Atas 06 Pagi Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan sebanyak 24 orang. Penerapan model pembelajaran Children Learning In Science (CLIS) pada pokok bahasan tersebut antara lain bertujuan agar siswa mampu membangun ide-ide atau gagasan dan kreativitas melalui interaksi dari teman maupun lingkungan sekitar. Kesimpulan motivasi belajar IPA pada siklus I yang masuk kategori motivasi belajar IPA sangat tinggi sebesar 62,5%. Persentase ini meningkat pada siklus II yaitu sebesar 87,5%. Berdasarkan data pemantauan tindakan guru dan siswa pada siklus I adalah 67,5% meningkat menjadi 91,25%. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran Children Learning In Science (CLIS) dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN Menteng Atas 06 Pagi Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan menjadi lebih baik. This classroom action research’s objective is to improve science learning motivation with learning model of Children Learning In Science (CLIS), about it the nature of object and quality object and use on fourt grade students in State Elementary School. The subject of this research was 24 students at fourth grade of SDN Menteng Atas 06 Pagi Setiabudi South Jakarta. Application learning model Children Learning In Science (CLIS) the topic such among others, so that students are able to build these ideas and kreativitas through interaction from friends and the surrounding environment. Conclusions motivation to learn science in the category of very high motivation at 62,5%. This percentage improved in the second cycle which became 87,5%. On the first cycle, teacher and student’s action monitoring data was 72,5% then it improved to be 97,5%. The implication of this research was that the learning process with learning model Children Learning In Science (CLIS) could improve science learning motivation on students at fourth grade of SDN Menteng Atas 06 Pagi Setiabudi South Jakarta.
