Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas III SDN Marunda 03 Pagi pada materi Kegiatan Jual Beli dengan menggunakan Metode Cooperative Learning Tipe Word Square. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Marunda 03 Pagi yang berlokasi di jalan Marunda Baru I No.14 Jakarta Utara. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua bulan dari bulan April sampai dengan Mei 2015 pada semester II tahun pelajaran 20014/2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan data yang diperoleh dari proses pembelajaran menggunakan Metode Cooperative Learning Tipe Word Square memperoleh hasil belajar IPS yaitu pada ranah Kognitif memperoleh presentase sebesar 56,67% meningkat menjadi 100% disiklus II. Hasil belajar ranah Afektif mengalami kenaikan sebesar 62,08% menjadi 88,25% di siklus II. Hasil Psikomotor sejumlah 67,00% pada siklus I menjadi 78,64% di siklus II. Presentase aktivitas guru pada siklus I dan siklus II mencapai 63,75 menjadi 92,5%. Presentase Aktivitas Siswa kenaikan sejumlah 66,25% menjadi 96,25%. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah Metode Cooperative Learning Tipe Word Square dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu cara metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS pada siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. This research purposes to analyze efforts to improve learning outcomes Social Studies in Marunda third grade students of SDN 03 Pagi on the material Purchase Activity using cooperative learning methods Type Word Square. Research conducted at SDN 03 Pagi Marunda located in the New Marunda I 14 North Jakarta. The research was carried out for two months from April to May 2015 in the second semester of the school year 2014/2015. This study uses a classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. The results showed the data obtained from the learning process using the Cooperative Learning method Type Word Square acquire learning outcomes IPS that in the realm of Cognitive obtain a percentage of 56.67%, builds up become 100% cycled II. Affective learning outcomes sphere increased by 62.08% to 88.25% in the second cycle. Results Psychomotor number of 67.00% in the first cycle to 78.64% in the second cycle. Percentage activity of teachers in the first cycle and the second cycle reaches 63.75 to 92.5%. Student Activity Percentage increase in number of 66.25% to 96.25%. The implication of this study is the Cooperative Learning method Type Word Square can be used as one way of learning methods to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School third-grade students.
