Abstract

Penelitian ini berujuan untuk mencari tahu bagaimana Program Pengampunan Pajak Indonesia dibingkai pada berita daring Jakarta Globe dan The Straits Times. Penelitian ini fokus pada kata, frasa, kalimat dan gambar tentang Progam Pengampunan Pajak Indonesia pada berita daring Jakarta Globe dan The Straits Times selama tahun 2016. Metode penelitian menggunakan dekriptif analitikal interpretatif. delapan data diambil dari berita daring Jakarta Globe dan The Straits Times. Untuk melihat perbedaan perspektif, teori yang digunakan adalah Gamson & Modigliani. Hasil penelitian menujukkan berita daring Jakarta Globe membingkai positif Program Penganpunan Pajak Indonesia seperti meningkatkan hasil pajak dan sektor ekonomi, sementara berita daring The Straits Times membingkai Program Pengampunan Pajak Indonesia secara negative seperti transaksi mencurigakan dan kejahatan keuangan. This research aims to reveal how Indonesia’s Tax Amnesty is framed in Jakarta Globe and The Straits Times Singapore online newspaper. This study will focus on words, sentences, and image shown in the Jakarta Globe and The Straits Times Singapore online newspaper about Indonesian Tax Amnesty in a year of 2016. This study is a descriptive analytical interpretative method and taking the data from eight articles in the Jakarta Globe and The Straits Times online newspaper. The theory used is framing analysis by Gamson & Modigliani’s theory to see the different perspective between the two online mass media. The findings show Jakarta Globe online newspaper framed Indonesian Tax Amnesty program as the positive image such as boost tax revenue and improve Indonesian economic sector. Meanwhile, The Straits Times framed Indonesian Tax Amnesty program as a negative image such as suspicious transaction and financial crime.
