This study uses an approach to the document study method. The researcher uses the semiotic theory of Roland Barthes and the social construction theory of Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckman as knife analysis. Data collection techniques were obtained through literature and documentation studies. This research was conducted from February to August 2022. In data triangulation, this study uses triangulation of data sources by using related sources from Linkin Park in analyzing the topics studied. The results of this study are the song "What I've Done" is a song about someone's regret for their mistakes. However, in the music video’s version, the song "What I've Done" is a song about the social reflection of humanity's neglect of their environment on stage. The song "What I've Done" carries a message of social criticism and hope to rebuild a broken world.
