Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil penilaian estetika teknik suminagashi pada tekstil yang dinilai oleh lima orang panelis ahli dalam bidang desain, seni dan dalam bidang industri kreatif dan juga untuk memberikan inovasi terbaru agar para pelaku industri dapat mengembangkan produk tekstil dengan inovasi baru dan sesuai tren yang ada. Produk yang dibuat ialah sebanyak lima buah dengan warna sesuai trend 2020 dan hasil motif yang berbeda yang dinilai berdasarkan estetika wujud dengan aspek bentuk dan susunan, estetika penyajian dengan aspek media, dan estetika bobot dengan aspek suasana dan gagasan. Prosedur pengumpulan data melalui tahap wawancara terstruktur, dokumentasi dan observasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Busana, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada bulan Januari 2020. Hasil penelitian penilaian berupa deskripsi data yang menunjukkan bahwa tiga dari lima produk tekstil dengan teknik suminagashi telah sesuai dengan teori penilaian estetika karena dilihat dari keseluruhan aspek estetika ketiga produk sudah sesuai, sedangkan untuk dua produk yang kurang sesuai karena masih terdapat banyak bercak dan juga motif yang menyebar hampir tidak terlihat sehingga tidak sesuai dengan sumber ide yang diambil. Penilaian teknik suminagashi yang dinilai berdasarkan unsur estetika wujud dengan aspek bentuk dan susunan, estetika penyajian dengan aspek media dan estetika bobot dengan aspek suasana dan gagasan. Kata kunci : Tekstil, Suminagashi, Estetika This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The purpose of this research is to find out the results of the Suminagashi aesthetic assessment on textiles assessed by five expert panelists in the fields of design, art and in the field of creative industries and also to provide the latest innovations so that industry players can develop textile products with new innovations and according to existing trends. The products made are as many as five pieces with colors according to the 2020 trend and the results of different motifs are judged based on the aesthetics of the form with aspects of form and arrangement, the aesthetics of the presentation with the aspects of the media, and the aesthetics of the weights with the aspects of the atmosphere and ideas. Data collection procedures through structured interview, documentation and observation stages. The research was conducted at the Fashion Study Education Program, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University in January 2020. The results of the assessment research were in the form of data descriptions showing that three out of five textile products with suminagashi techniques were in accordance with the aesthetic valuation theory because they were viewed from all three aspects of aesthetics. the product is appropriate, while for the two products that are not appropriate because there are still many spots and also the motives that spread are almost invisible so it is not in accordance with the source of the ideas taken. Assessment of suminagashi techniques which are assessed based on the aesthetic elements of form with aspects of form and composition, aesthetic presentation with aspects of media and weight aesthetics with aspects of atmosphere and ideas.
