Abstract

Dalam era modern yang dipenuhi dengan kemajuan teknologi, akses cepat dan mudah terhadap informasi sangat penting bagi masyarakat. Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi telah membawa keberagaman media, termasuk video, yang dapat mengombinasikan teknologi audio dan visual secara dinamis dan menarik. Video profil menjadi sarana efisien untuk memasarkan perusahaan dan mengenalkan keunggulan suatu daerah. Dalam konteks Badan Kebijakan Pembangunan Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia, video profil dapat memperkenalkan dan menjelaskan peran serta kontribusinya yang belum banyak diketahui masyarakat. Penelitian ini berfokus pada peran sutradara dan produser dalam produksi video profil badan tersebut. Sutradara memiliki tanggung jawab utama dalam aspek kreatif dan teknis, termasuk interpretasi dan penerapan elemen-elemen artistik, sedangkan produser mengelola keseluruhan proses produksi dan aspek finansial. Video profil yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat menyampaikan pesan dengan cara yang hidup dan menarik, meningkatkan pemahaman, dan mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami kontribusi signifikan sutradara dalam membimbing aspek kreatif dan visual produksi video profil serta efektivitas produser dalam mengelola anggaran dan sumber daya yang tersedia. Secara akademis, laporan ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam perkembangan ilmu komunikasi dan sinematografi, khususnya dalam penyutradaraan dan produksi video profil. Secara praktis, laporan ini merupakan syarat kelulusan penulis dan diharapkan mampu menjadi sumber penciptaan karya bagi praktisi public relations dan pihak terkait dalam pembuatan video profil. Dalam tinjauan teoritis, peran sutradara dan produser dijelaskan secara mendetail, termasuk tanggung jawab, tugas, dan keterampilan yang diperlukan. Video profil dijabarkan sebagai media yang efektif untuk menyampaikan informasi, menggabungkan berbagai unsur seperti gambar bergerak, dokumentasi, teks, dan diagram yang dipadukan dengan suara dan latar belakang yang selaras, menciptakan video yang menarik dan informatif. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan wawasan penting dalam mencapai keberhasilan dalam penyampaian informasi perusahaan kepada khalayak melalui medium video profil, khususnya dalam konteks Badan Kebijakan Pembangunan Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia. *********** In the modern era filled with technological advances, fast and easy access to information is very important for society. The development of communication and information technology has brought a diversity of media, including video, which can combine audio and visual technology in a dynamic and interesting way. Profile videos are an efficient means of marketing a company and introducing the advantages of an area. In the context of the Health Development Policy Agency of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, profile videos can introduce and explain their roles and contributions which are not widely known to the public. This research focuses on the role of the director and producer in the production of the agency's profile video. The director has primary responsibility for creative and technical aspects, including the interpretation and application of artistic elements, while the producer manages the entire production process and financial aspects. The resulting profile video is expected to convey messages in a lively and interesting way, increase understanding, and encourage active community participation. This research aims to understand the director's significant contribution in guiding the creative and visual aspects of profile video production as well as the producer's effectiveness in managing the budget and available resources. Academically, it is hoped that this report can contribute to the development of communication science and cinematography, especially in directing and producing profile videos. Practically, this report is a requirement for the author's graduation and is expected to be a source of work creation for public relations practitioners and related parties in making profile videos. In the theoretical overview, the roles of director and producer are explained in detail, including the responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Profile videos are described as an effective medium for conveying information, combining various elements such as moving images, documentation, text and diagrams combined with harmonious sound and background, creating interesting and informative videos. This research is expected to provide important insights in achieving success in conveying company information to the public through video profile media, especially in the context of the Health Development Policy Agency of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
