Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh penilaian busana pesta yang dihiasi motif ikon budaya Betawi dengan teknik payet tambour berdasarkan aspek estetika. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental design, one shot case study. Penelitian ini menghasilkan lima produk busana pesta yang dihiasi motif ikon budaya Betawi dengan teknik payet tambour yang dinilai menggunakan rating scale. Instrumen angket terdiri dari 17 pernyataan dengan skala pengukuran rating scale yang diberikan kepada lima panelis ahli di bidangnya. Penilaian yang dilakukan menggunakan teori estetika menurut A.A.M. Djelantik (1999) terdiri dari aspek wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi, dan penyajian atau penampilan. Hasil penilaian estetika secara keseluruhan berdasarkan aspek wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi, dan penyajian atau penampilan sebesar 92,4% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan aspek wujud atau rupa yang terdiri dari sub aspek unsur dan prinsip desain mendapatkan nilai 90,2% dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek bobot atau isi yang terdiri dari sub aspek gagasan atau ide yang mengacu pada sumber inspirasi “Nyok Ngacir” mendapatkan nilai 92,4% dengan kategori sangat baik. Sementara aspek penyajian atau penampilan yang terdiri dari sub aspek sarana atau media memperoleh nilai 94,8% dengan kategori sangat baik. Produk dengan penilaian tertinggi diperoleh desain lima memperoleh nilai sebesar 97,4% dengan kategori sangat baik dan desain tiga memperoleh nilai terendah memperoleh nilai sebesar 80% diantara kelima desain dengan kategori sangat baik. This research aims to obtain an assessment of party clothing decorated with Betawi cultural icon motifs using tambour sequin techniques based on aesthetic aspects. This research method uses descriptive quantitative research design with a preexperimental design, one shot case study. This research produced five party clothing products decorated with Betawi cultural icon motifs using tambour sequin techniques which were assessed using a rating scale. The questionnaire instrument consists of 17 statements with a rating scale measurement scale given to five expert panelists in their fields. The assessment was carried out using aesthetic theory according to A.A.M. Djelantik (1999) consists of aspects of form or appearance, weight or content, and presentation or appearance. The overall aesthetic assessment results based on aspects of form, weight or content, and presentation or appearance were 92.4% in the very good category. Based on the form or appearance aspect which consists of sub-aspects of design elements and principles, it received a score of 90.2% in the very good category. The weight or content aspect which consists of sub-aspects of ideas or ideas that refer to the source of inspiration "Nyok Ngacir" received a score of 92.4% in the very good category. Meanwhile, the presentation or appearance aspect consisting of the facilities or media subaspect received a score of 94.8% in the very good category. The product with the highest assessment was design five which received a score of 97.4% in the very good category and design three received the lowest score with a score of 80% among the five designs in the very good category.
